Please do not tag the owner in these types of things. In the event administration feels it requires the owner's attention then we bring it to the owner's attention. Beyond that, the owner should not be tagged in anything unless it is extremely important.

Well, there's two types of stone swords. They do different things. Then there's different armor. And different bows. All do different things.
And look exactly the same.

Honestly, why would someone donate $100+ on kits if they are going to get confused on what they have? If the server named the kits, it would be a win/win for both the donator and the server.

 

It's a trade-off. If you can't keep your items organized then you shouldn't use multiple kits. If you want to use multiple kits then you need to organize your items. (Like spawning your kits in a certain order and then using number keys to organize them)

Looks like you didn't understand what I said. I said it wasn't necesary to add all the lore to the kits (which is quite tedious work, might I add)
You need to do think of your own system for organization. I've not seen a complaint from most SG players with kits. So it can't be an issue that requires administration to do grunt work, right?

 

Compared to all the other plugins that we add for donations, naming a few kits would not be hard/tedious at all.

You've been on the forums for a bit over 2 weeks. There's a lot of things you haven't seen. There are about 10 people who have agreed/liked this suggestion and I believe most of them use kits which makes me think that they thought it would help. I'd also like to share a post that explains another reason this would be useful.

 

how many kits are there? Do tell. all the weapons in those kits would need to be manually named. It's tedious grunt work. Unless you want to go into the essentials configuration and do it for the administration, then by all means, be my guest. but don't expect the admin to do grunt work for a problem people have with their own inventory management.

 

You know @bigboompanda123, I've read a lot of your posts and I have come to the conclusion that:
1) You have no f***ing clue what our developers do. They do this kinda stuff all the time because its their job. They chose to be developers because programming is something they are good at and enjoy. Its not grunt work.
2) You are very against everything. Whats so bad about little improvements?

Right, because a troll is automatically someone with absolutely no knowledge of how it works. I have years of experience with development and beta testing environments. but I'm sure that amounts to nothing.

I really highly doubt you do. Because if you did, you would know that this is not grunt/long and tedious work as stated in your previous posts. And I still don't understand why you are so against it

 

If you'd look at the title, the suggestion is clearly for 3 kits. That is a total of 8 weapons. And enough with saying its tedious work. Adding the rising world is tedious. Adding a new spawn is tedious. This is not.
