Not a big issue to me, if people really want fines not a challenge to enforce, if they don't not an issue.

 

It makes no sense to enforce fines unless they're repeatedly applying incorrectly and not listening to staff. This mostly happens to newer players, and I don't want the server to take their money. I think we should just remove the fine altogether and issue forum warnings if they're applying incorrectly repeatedly.

 

Personally, I'd like to see some level of grace for builders applying for resident or very minor mistakes, but fines if they don't follow the instructions or when they are experienced enough to know how to file an app.

While the fine rules should (in my opinion) be similar to this post I have suggested option one because I've seen troll applications and when I have things that need to be approved I don't have time for these trivialities.

 

I feel like if you want to file a troll app then you should get a further consequence than a fine. So there is no need for fines. Get rid of them

 

Just throwing it out there that I have been fined before. But it doesn't happen much anymore.

I'd like to see fines removed. People make honest mistakes and they should be fined for mistakes. If it's a troll application then it can be dealt with like any other trolling, a forum warning or tempban.

 

I'd say just take the rule out imo, most of the time it really is a genuine mistake and they make you reapply or edit it. I've had tons of applications where a coordinate was off or something rather slight and I'm given the option to quickly edit it . Either that or it's a troll application and they just lock it anyways, it seems like the penalty as it is, is just simply not getting what you applied for as quickly.

Honestly, I don't think people should be fined because they don't understand... not everyone here speaks English either or they may be a bit too young and misunderstand a question, etc.
There is not real point to the fines imo, if someone is trolling, that's what the warning system is for. :p
I too, haven't seen a fine enforced in a long time. I mean it's possible they were enforced in private, but I just see no reason for them at all.
