Ok so I'm suggesting we raise the fish price. Why? We lowered it because of autofishers, autofishing is illegal now... so henceforth we need to raise the fish price up.

Maybe not back to $50, (though that would be VERY nice) maybe raise it to $30 or $40?
Fish don't make near as much as farming or mining, back in the day they made a bit less if not as much as farming and mining (depending on the crop)

    Feesh need to be raised.

Leave feedback below, fairly simple and straightforward suggestion so I'll leave it to you guys.

I highly go against 50+, if it goes to 50+ it will be an economy breaker and will just get nerfed all over again. 50+ is not suggested under any circumstances, but if you have a good reason for it, post below

I say $50 like it was before people auto fished. Even at $50 it wasn't the best way to make money so I say back to $50!

I do want fish to come back up, but not yet. There are still going to be players out there who still autofish until caught. We have to weed out those people first before prices can rise in my opinion. Once it's made clear it is illegal and will get banned and make sure most people aren't using, then raise the price slowly. Start at 20 -> 30 -> etc. That's how I think it should be done.

Get what your saying but I think that if we raise them up now that it will cause the people with auto fishers to start using them so theirfore we might as well just raise them to the amount they will be at, from the beginning.

I still stand fully against raising the price of fish to any amount higher than its current price. Setting fish at $50 in the first place was one of the worst mistakes ever made in this economy when viewed in hindsight. The price of a fish was a lot of money for little effort needed to catch it, and tempted many to auto fish. Auto fishing may be illegal, and it may be a ban, though if its easy money that is open to all users, the temptation is there to use an program that isn't allowed. A fishing rod from spawn only costs $100 ecd last I checked, and every player can easily get that amount of money, which means those with no dedication or interest in this server can do harm to the economy.

While I hate to admit it, fishing has too much potential to be abused, and those that use auto-fishers can reap large rewards and do lasting damage to the economy if the server price for fish is raised too high. Maybe a price raise to $20, at most, though that is still too high for the risk that would be added to the economy, in my opinion.

Well, here is where i stand. I, my self will not fish for money. BUT, new users that join the server, would be the people that use this. Basically, i get my money from pumpkin farming. Well, new users cant just pull out 10k from their pocket. So anyway, to get 1k, you would need to catch 20 feesh. And honestly, feesh don't bight very often. 1k is the usuall cost of a 10x10 plot, and honestly, to get a good start on the server, u must have a member ship in a good town, with decent farms and inforced rules. After you get acces to farms, you would tend to go away from feeshing, and you start to buy pick to mine/ buy a pumpkin axe/ play sg/ ect. Ect. I strongly think that the cost of feesh should be $50, not for me, but for new users.

    Thnx!

I would like to note that there are some people (like me) that store fish for a long time. At the current price of $10, if you got to 1000 fishing without mcmmo+, you would make approximately 4,000,000. Even with mcmmo+ x4, that's $1,000,000. Imagine if fish were $50 again. That's $20,000,000 without mcmmo+, and $5,000,000 with it. Even though it does take an enormous amount of time to gather these fish, there are people with double chests and double chests of these fish, even without autofishing for it.

I'm voting for keeping the price the same, even though I would benefit greatly if it was raised. That should tell you something about whether the price should be raised or not.

Errr.. I don't think there will be any more autofishers because in 1.6, there will be a new client and the creator of nodus don't be making a new version..

There are other autofishing mods, not just nodus. If it were a nodus only feature, we would've been banning for autofishing a while ago.

I would like an increase to fish, but definitely not to $50 per. $15 or $20 would be good.

Only reason I want an increase is because fishing is, er... "unpredictable?" And depending on your Internet speed / computer speed, it can be difficult to fish.

However... Fishing is a great option for the very young users and the users with really old computers. I know for a fact that I cannot farm in an efficient farm because my 2-3 y/o laptop cannot handle it. I can mine, that much is true; but to efficiently mine, it can take a while and costs money (tools + weapons + maybe armor).

Fishing - especially without a fishing table, which last I knew could no longer be created from a Mojang update - is very light-weight and can be done in an unpopulated, un-built area with little lag. It is also very simple for younger users to figure out.

Although, I do see what Zard is saying; but can that really be helped? Users do that for pumpkins, melons, wheat, ores... Anyone who hoards is constantly in the position to gain (or lose), when prices change. So, I do and do not see why fish hoarders should stop a price increase when mining and other farming methods could have the same consequence.
