You take this up with andrew man. We've decided that we don't wish to comply to Mojang's wishes. They want to destroy a game that was a very excellent one for many people across the world so andrew decided that he would not comply with their stupid decisions anymore and fight back and that is what he has done and is going to continue doing. If you're one of the people at Mojang, then have fun because you are going to get one hell of a fight on this. Eco City Craft is a great community and it will not be given up easily, if anyone has a problem with that then that's them and too bad because we are here to stay and will remain so. (Sorry if this was a little too strong, but its the truth, basically).

Also @3ssej_, I would recommend that you do not mention other servers here, its not really aloud and could be considered advertising even without the name listed. Also, Andrew doesn't really care if about other servers who have complied, that's their business and their own worry.

 

Post this on your real account and maybe people would feel more inclined to listen to you :)

No, it's not. If it were as easy as "comply and your server will run perfectly" this would've been done ages ago. There are many reasons why andrew made the decision that he did.
P.S. There's no point in posting this on a different account unless you knew from the start that it was a bad suggestion.

Change would never happen if people 'just faced it' in history. Ecc will continue to fight as what Mojang has done is rather appalling.

That's an opinion and not a fact. Opinions can differ from each person.

Its not the rules really that's ticked everyone off. Its how they were handled. They rolled it out and then suddenly started adding more things to their suddenly restrictive rule set for servers. Without much warning or feedback. An example is the no voting reward rules because players pay with their time. Its a game, everyone uses their time. Its not forced upon them to vote either. Its rules like this one that have ticked off more than just EcoCityCraft's community.

Every server is different. Every single server is different and every single server has a different player base. What works for one server might not work for the other. We tried the Eula, it didn't work. Just cause it's worked for other's doesn't mean it can work for all. EcoCityCraft is a very different server then, lets say, a minigame server. Cosmetics on minigame servers are desired. Cosmetics on EcoCityCraft are not desired much. We tried the Eula and it messed with a lot of stuff. Its not just the owners of the server upset. I freely spend my money on this server as I like the server and I like the features I get from it.

This isn't the reason Andrew stopped following the Eula. This also seem's rather childish for 103 year old (According to your profile your 103 years old)

Same goes for this server. If you don't like what the server is doing don't go on it and stop playing.

I have a question and no I'm not being sarcastic. Seeing as you've been on the server for only a day I cant help but wonder if you purposely seek out servers that aren't Eula complaint to post this kind of suggestion? Its hard to feel strongly about something when you haven't even logged on in game yet. I really am wondering.

Servers are really expensive to run especially this one microsoft/mojang is trying to kill off servers so people use realms. Also we are not the only ones ignoring the eula i hope we never comply people like you make me want to support bypassing more :D .
