Yes! This would bring back the randomness factor into enchants. +1

I like this idea, maybe only on Extra Commands or something.

 

This would seriously cut down on the price of maxed tools, and would make all the effort I put into making my tools worth nothing. -1

 

Explain further.

 

I currently have the following tools via the enchant shop:

• Eff V Unb III Fort III Diamond Pickaxe
• Eff V Diamond Spade

These total to 23,000 exp orbs. I have mined for a while to get these tools, and if all of a sudden there's a big change that allows players to get high enchanted tools with only 17-825 orbs, it would mean that all of that effort I put into mining would amount to nothing.

Naa. Extra commands Seems good enough.

 

Monkey I think he wants so you still have to use about tha same amount to enchant tools with like a table Ex.
Eff 5, for 3, and silk 1 would be using around the same exp like /enchant random 9000 has a chance of likewise items for the exp cost we have now.
