Denied [Suggestion] EcoLegend Feature

Interesting concept if it can be implemented correctly

If this is implemented correctly, I'd love to see this. Possibly works like a normal town claim application but an attachment is added to the original town application stating this is unclaimable?

Otherwise I see nothing wrong with it, would be a great reward for achieving the highest paid rank ECC has to offer.

i dont know why this inst a thing, would make ranking more appealing and it's very simple to implement, a simple edit to the town app title with "unclaimable" would be enough

As much as id personally love this i do not want it to happen (have a massive vault town of my own). 6months inactivity is not a little amount of time to log in to make sure your town will stay yours.

Real life things happen, people die, theres all kinds of reasons not to really do this as it could potentially leave tons of useless junk towns on the server. Allowing them to be reclaimed is vital to the economy IMO, it gives someone else a chance to turn a piece of land into something cool.

This coming from a guy who lost his very first town via inactivity due to a heart attack that put me down and unable to play for long enough my town was claimed. It was disappointing to see to say the least but i have made a come back just like anyone can on here with some hard work and determination.

Side note, Octavian, you claim that this would junk up the server. Maybe you should take a look at how many people are actually EcoLegend x3

 

I dont plan to upgrade to ecolegend ever, but id shoot straight for it if this was to happen and im sure many others would as well. As it is now its just a extremely expensive town claim for the most part and a way to show off. This suggestion would make it a whole new ballgame though.

For those of you who think the server would get cluttered with unclaimable towns, some math:
To go from president to EcoLegend is 9 mil (from an above post somewhere).
Say, on average, you make about $20k/hr mining (I assume if you're trying to get EcoLegend you would at least be able to get near this amount per hour)
So, 9,000,000/20,000 = 450 hours
450/24 = 18.75
That's roughly 19 days of straight money making...
Now, I'm aware some people will make more than this amount per hour, some will win lottos, and undoubtly most will do more to make money than just mine or farm, but even then, it's still a really long haul to EcoLegend.
True, there will be more people rushing the rank, but realistically, how many of them will quit or get bored?
