Reason: Just convenience and continuity of work flow. Any Other Information: Pro: It can be very convenient not to switch between shovel and pick automatically while mining. Con: can switch tools in the middle of superbreaker throwing off your epic sweep of blocks. Link To This Plugin: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/autotool/
Omg that looks absolutely amazing, yes please. How would it choose/differentiate between fortune/silk picks, shovels, and axes if you had both types of a single tool? Other than that this sounds amazing.
Love it! It would be so helpful when clearing towns and when mining. It would also be helpful to have broken tools switched out. Could it be set up to not allow the tool to actually break? You know, so you can repair it still?
The donation ExtCommandsplus2 allows for items below 10% hp to be repaired automatically. Just buy a set of max tools and your all set.
I know the mod of the same name was able to be config'ed to switch tools out before breaking if there was space in the inventory, but the bucket plugin may be a little different. As for which tools are switched for which and priorities, that is set in the plugins config. You would still have to have commandsplus+ for autorepair so it would not get in the way of that. If you do not have commandsplus+ you would have to manually repair tools still.
Pretty sure this is already available for everyone by downloading a simple mod. I'm doubting very many people would buy this as a donation feature when many people already have it for free.
As MoofinK said, you can simply download a macro for this, which would render this feature all but pointless.
You can always use macro to have automatic erepair scripts -- the primary function of extended commands ++. Macro isn't always updated, I love it to death but it's not always an option. As well, I've heard that andrew may soon be disallowing macromod usage.
I wasn't even talking about macromod, though - there are other mods that just have the purpose of switching weapons. I do not know how updated they are, though.
