    Every voice chat application is gonna have some sort of toll on games. Discord has made me lag at times, but it's less laggy than Skype or TS from my experiences.

    Sure, but overall it's less laggy than any of the alternatives. (except maybe Ventrilo) So.. it's a pretty silly thing to say.

    New update on this: Discord released an update where you can change your status to "Do Not Disturb" (red); Idle, which is basically AFK (yellow); or Offline (grey). The system is now almost exactly the same as Skype in that regard, and now offers slightly more flexibily over Slack.
