Suggestion: I think that we should incorporate a creative world within Ecocitycraft.

Reason: Well, my reasoning is that i see many new users asking for factions and a creative world. I think a creative world would really work within Ecocitycraft, giving inspiration of creativity and also giving a chance for users to plan larger builds in the main world. To incorporate the economy you can set prices for Claiming a creative plot or clearing one. I really believe that this would be brilliant. Every so often Ecocitycraft has building competitions, i don't know if they will continue much longer, but if they do we could create a Competition creative world so that Users can build their entries within Ecocitycraft making it easier to move them to the main world via world edit. I hope people give constructive feedback to this, i know it may have been suggested 1000 times, but i really think it will lead ECC to a new era. Even making it a world like the nether by making a special rank that needs to be applied for to gain access to the world would be great, i know i would definitely apply for this rank, this would also allow multiple ranks to that you could maybe have access to different sized plots in the different compass directions (North 25x25, east 50x50 etc). Also with this i think a lot more donation features could be created (More Plots, Bigger Sizes etc). I hope this does come about and that we will get to see this new world arise in the future. Again with building competitions, it will ensure that buildings and works are completely original and make sure that no unintended copying in done. It can keep the server running at its full standard and help the economy grow! After all all i want is too see Ecocitycraft grow to an even bigger and more popular server! To help with this world we have another 4 portals to utilize at spawn so it seems feasible to connect the whole of ECC to this world!

Any Other Information: Protection of the economy is vital, the plugin below i have tested myself. it makes an infinitely large map with plots (Using Multiverse) which can be claimed for money and limits can be set on how many plots a user can have. It is incredibly easy to set up. Inventories and commands can be blocked in this world to allow selling of items and other admin commands. It comes with commands such as /plotme home which allows quick transportation to your designated plot, but whether it would be turned off i dot know. It is a versatile plugin that i am sure can be changed by our great developer team to suite ECC's needs!

Many people say it will conflict with the Aether world, but the creative world can have a completely different purpose, maybe just for controlled building competitions, and also newer users who join may not be enticed into the aether as it could mean they would have to donate externally to the server to gain perks and ease of use in the aether. The creative world allows versatility and easy use of land and plots for users to use. And then if this were to come about the access to the creative world could be free but it may cost to use a plot. Another advantage to the creative world is that there is no griefing, all plots are user protected and this then reduces strain on staff members doing grief reports and such. It should be a moderated world, don't get me wrong, but most of the world is under user responsibility, and obvious rules would apply to buildings (No inappropriate buildings). Truly if this does come about, i have no idea whether the aether would conflict with this world, but i think it would allow new possibilities to ECC. Thanks for taking the time to read this!

The plugin is great to work with, as for size ECC has a plugin that locks a worlds size so this can be tackled easily, and as for prices, i think they would be reasonable to work with, say for 1 plot it would be $1000 or something to that effect. If the world becomes like the nether and you have to apply, then i think it would work out as being the same as the nether at around 20k which i believe is reasonable.

Maybe, but it needs to be made worth it to get in, so maybe not as high as the nether/aether as there is nothing to be taken back into the main world. Like say Quartz.

 

Using it for events would be great, but having it as a normal map i would see as useful, people could plan big builds and other things, i want to get an opinion of a big builder @Joliver1998 I need your opinion on this.

 

It is a good point, but i think this can be made into a completely different type of experience. As an alternative it could be used by people who are not really fans of the aether, like me.

 

Hmm, the thing that bugs me about the aether is that your builds can be griefed, even though people pay to gain access to the aether this can still happen, with the creative world it allows for protection of land. With aether also, newer users need to gain lots of money to enter and it doesnt seem to please the newer users. I think that if this happens then there would be a few conflicts between the worlds, but maybe it can just be used for competitions, to make sure everyone's build is completely original. My intentions on this suggestion were not destroy the aether, but to create a new experience, something different.

 

Its true and i respect that, but maybe then this creative world idea recedes to just being a competition based area/idea. But, the idea of turning ECC into a creative server is taking it too far, it should just be a side area like the aether or nether, not a 'full blown give it all we've got' world.
