@DeVaHz - I think @stoler202 did read your suggestion and has made a good reply of his own that you may wish to re-read. He is correct that one solution is to gear up. Another option would be to find a few friends to team with you - I feel the targeting would stop after a few kills.
I very seldom play and I am really bad at SG so I have been a target since I am such an easy kill and an easy quick cash bonus for some. :)

 

Her strategy seems to be working - she does seem to have annoyed you so who is the crazy one? :roflmao:

That's a strategy. How do you counter it? Leave the game and join a different one. Or nicely ask the user to stop, that's all. This isn't needed. -1

Odds are, if I deem you a threat, I will stalk you. If I am in an sg with people I don't know, and you chat a lot, I will stalk you. If you don't want to be stalked, either fight back, or run.

Well, I dont think its a situation where he needs to 'man up', i think hes feeling that what is happening to him (where he is being closely followed) is getting out of hand, and he feels he can no longer control what this particular user is doing. Its also very frustrating when you cannot win a game because someone is constantly following you. In my eyes, I see this as a form of bullying, because this user would not stop following dev for anything, and did it multiple times (also dev probably felt like what was happening was no longer in his controll, meaning he couldnt do anything about it and felt intimidated and/or helpless.)

Anyways, for this suggestion, i think this should be considered trolling and or harassment. Not saying every situation like this is harassment. The only problem is, where do you draw the line of whether its harassment or not? I guess if it could be considered a violation, it should go to revanrose or andrewkm and they will decide.

 

-1. I tail people all the time for several reasons. I will go ahead and list them as I am an open book.

1. I know that people have buffer and know that they wait until dm to use it. I will then sneak up on them and use my strength pot to get theirs and eliminate a kitter.
2. To get to people's heads. Irritating someone by pressuring them through tailing only makes them lose their focus and lets me win easier. This is evident by the fact that @DeVaHz wants me to stop doing this.
3. Blitzkrieg. I use an overwhelming force to make people feel as though they've already lost. If I'm going up against a non-kitter, with my pf armor on, swapping between a gold apple, a strength 2 pot, and my miq sword, after drinking a spy pot, they should be intimidated, making them not try as hard, decreasing the chance of them even damaging me.
4. It makes no sense to sit there and wait when there are potential kills to be taken and money to be claimed.... like.... srsly.....

 

is that person killing you and then leaving the game to follow you in the next or is that person finishing their game first?
because in my opinion thats the difference between harrassing and just playing sg and targeting you.

if a person is just leaving the game right after killing you und then joining the next game just to harrass you then that person is breaking a rule.
if a person is finishing their game first then that means they are just playing the game and youre just an unlucky fellow whos just targeted.

Even though people do indeed do this, it is part of the game. You have to deal with it and either fight back, run, or ignore it. Practice makes perfect and you could one day kill them when they are following you. I would just deal with it. It doesn't bother me one bit. but apparently it bothers OTHER people, which it shouldn't, as it is just a game. My only suggestion is to do something else if it bothers you. There is nothing you can do and I completely doubt that this would become a rule.
