Yes, but would they be putting the money into one account? Because as it is, it wouldn't work to ask the GA's to take half out of one account and half out of the other.
I recently shared a shop with RailefBear . I would say if you're going into business together, you should have a fair amount of trust. I gave railef money toward the investment, we both collected materials and put into group chests, he managed the shop, and gave me payouts (i believe though that he gave more more $ than he should have, cuase hes just awesome like that -- the sneak)
Me and Core do a similar thing. He provides me with Fish and Exp and I give him half the profits off those items. We are easily pulling that off without any 'co-owner' thing.
there could be an extra fee for having a co-owner, such as 2k more per week, and it would work to have both manage a shop, they can figure out how they want to do it. Such as one running the buying from other users and the other selling, so just because you can work without it, doesnt mean it cant help others
Well personally, I think it overcomplicates everything. There is no way to share trade signs. So all you are asking for is to split a spawnshop into two spawnshops. I just think its... a waste. Like I said, me and core have a co-ownership type of thing. But its more like he's a supplier for my store. Idk I just don't see a point.
Maybe one day giving users permissions to trade signs may exist, it may be best to wait till them, but still, i think it can work efficiently for the users who want it, they might have much better uses for this system than we can think of, i dont think it hurts much to implement, and wouldnt require much work. And it takes more money out of the economy which is always a plus
Perhaps a second application made by the current owner to add another person to the shop. Then the owner is charged and it's up to them to get the money from the second user.
Another possibilty is including it in the application, and if so it would say "If a co-owner is added, Rent per week will be increased $####. then it can be payed in full by the owner, or the owner can get money from the co-owner. its all about how the owner wants to handle it.
Trade signs for multiple people won't ever happen, take my word for it, and if you don't believe me, ask Khobbits :b And without sharing trade signs, this suggestion becomes worthless.
I'm pretty sure the purpose is to share the shop, or is it not? I truly am a bit confused now. Thats what I get for not reading the main post.
in the grand scheme of things it all depends on what the owner wants to do, they can split the work and split the profits, i dont see what it would hurt having this, maybe have it for a week just to see how it would work and see what the general response to it would be. it wouldnt be hard afterward to completely remove the system if it doesnt work.
I don't think it is worthless without trade sign sharing. trade sign sharing is a complicated bad idea. It should be kept simple. Just a region with two people. All the rules about locks and trade sign remain the same. You can only break your own trade signs. You could have one person run the potion signs and the other person run the block sales, for example. Or split it however you want.
Exactly, just because you dont see a reason kuke doesnt mean everybody else will as well. I think giving it a try would be the best way to settle if it would work, if it doesnt, there shouldnt be any harm done.
Not worthless because both users can manage separate signs. Like one user comes on and manages XP while the other manages the ores. This would make the shop be half open even if one user left for a while as well as split the labour.
Well, since kukelekuuk00 said sharing trade signs won't ever happen (I was hoping some day they would write that so we could share trade signs) I have to suggest what revanrose6 and OnSceneReporter said: I worked with OnScene to maintain 1 shop, we shared certain chests where we put all the material that to be sold and we both worked on gathering them. I had to work just a little bit more on maintaining the signs stocked and all that and then we would divide the profit in 2 (it's true that I gave him a little more sometimes haha but he doesn't know when I did it ) So, to wrap it up: - find someone you really trust, someone you know will work and won't let you gathering stuff alone to then just get the profit and decide who gets to stock the signs and all that. - I also suggest you keep track of what is being sold. I used Excel to keep track which items where the ones that gave me the most profit to focus on gathering those more than others and to keep track how much money I was gathering (trust me, you'll lose track of it on the 1st day) - Switch owners just to keep things even. Rent the minimum (4 weeks) for 1 player, then give the shop to your partner for the next 4 weeks. Unless you like stocking the signs and keep track of the money used and the profit made, then you can do it as much as you want as long as your partner agrees . Note: If you want more details about what I did with the shop and how things worked with my partner shoot me a message in the forums.
