[suggestion] /ci command shouldn't clear star tools

Ppl not paying attention doesnt mean they deserve to lose all their tools.

 

People not paying attention while driving who kill others shouldn't be prosecuted.

Playing MC isn't an activity that puts other people's lives at risk. When you drive, you know that it is risky and deserve punishment if you are at fault for something. Also, you aren't hurting someone else in the MC example.

Even though my analogy was valid, here's another one for you.

People not paying attention at the grand canyon who drop their phones and other items down the canyon don't deserve to lose the items.

It only takes five seconds of an attention span to prevent someone from typing '/ci'. Just pay attention.

 

Exactly: they don't deserve to lose everything in a nothing. But do I sense that you think they do deserve it? What an incredibly gratuitous kind thought.
So, let me get this straight: if someone is standing over the grand canyon and inadvertently drops his phone at his feet, should I kick it down the canyon to make sure he loses it, or should I just let him pick it up and sigh with relief? TL;DR: /ci is not needed, as long as there is /clearinventory. Should we keep it just out of gratuitous kindness towards people who might typo in the future?

Oh, next time I drive my car I will not use the seatbelt, so that I will righteously die in case of an accident. Shis happens, but as you said: better losing everything than taking precautions. According to your reasoning, I should just avoid having accidents: but if it happens, I deserve to die. They should have never installed seatbelts in my car.

 

You've twisted my analogy. You're saying that if you get into an accident, you should die. That's not at all what I said. I said if someone were not paying attention while driving and they kill someone, they shouldn't be prosecuted. How logical would that be?

Again, not related to my analogy. I said they dropped, you stated they drop on the ground on their feet. You then proceed to say that you should kick it down because they weren't paying attention. That's again, not at all what I said. I wouldn't mind seeing /ci go to /clearinventory, but it shouldn't be removed like the suggestion is crusading for.

 

I don't see anyone saying /clearinventory should be removed. If you are okay with only /ci being removed and leaving /clearinventory alone, why are you arguing? you agree with us.

 

Just get rid of /ci and /clear. Keep the long and obvious command.
