There's a 3 character limit where the caps filter doesn't check. This was done to make smileys such as :D, :O, and O_O.
If there's any more than 3 characters then the 25% filter goes in place. Anything less than 25% will go through, if you have 25% or more then it will not.
A simple increase to 30% and 5 character limit should fix most issues.

Trade ads = /ch qm tr. I don't see the point in entering trade, sending a message, leaving trade again and being subject to the 25% rule. :p

Okay, let's go back to the beginning... I thought I had already posted my "+314" here a while ago, apologies because apparently I didn't and only watched this thread. Thus I was now only reacting to the statement of trade chat for which I use /Ch qm tr. Of course it would be annoying to use /ch qm g for every global message, I actually suppor this suggestion. :p

 

Excuse me for the probably dumb and off topic question but what is /ch qm tr? I have been on this server for more than a year now and I have never heard of this. I was away for a few weeks so if its new I probably missed it.

 

"ch" is short for channel, "qm" is short for quickmessage, "tr" is the actual channel.
It sends a message to the designated channel.

So typing /ch qm tr Selling stuff.
You'd send a message to trade saying "Selling stuff."

 

So what is the difference between /ch tr and /ch qm tr?

 

You join the channel when you /ch tr, you directly send a message to the channel with /ch qm tr
