Suggestion:
Add the command /buyrank <survivor, warrior, voidwalker, etc>. This would allow you to buy a rank instantly, cutting the time it takes for staff members to do it manually.
Reason:
Would be so much more efficient than our current system. Also, staff wouldn't have to do as much.
Any Other Information:
Thinking about it, we could probably add resident to it as well. Tons of resident apps are filed every day and this feature would help to give staff a break.

**Edit : Just to clear things up, I did not intend for this command to work for anything more than End and Nether ranks. You would still have to apply on the forms for resident mayor president etc.

I think ECC doesn't have this already - and don't think it should be added - for multiple reasons.
1. Applications give a reason to use the forums and promotes posting in other sections. This can assist a small bit in fostering a community.
2. If ECC added a buy-rank, it would take a bit away from its relatively unique forum-based system of applications and archiving and drop it right in with prison servers.
3. How would Mayor and President applications work?
4. Seems like quite a bit of work to add; /buyfeature was pretty extensive in terms of manhours (according to Jamie).-

Originally I mean the command to be only for special ranks for Nether and End access/upgrades, not for Res, Mayor, Pres, etc. Then I figured we could to it with Res as well, but I do agree with your first point. However, special ranks for End and Nether wouldn't effect forum activity.

Ah I see. I'm not against it for those ranks, but I don't know if it's worth adding because of how fast the GAs handle apps.

I think this would be good to be added, but not for all the ranks. Good for nether snd end ranks, and maybe resident, basically all the ranks where all you have to do is agree to the rules and have the applicable money in your balance. Certainly wouldn't work for mayor and president, where it gets more complicated.

That being said, if not all the ranks have /buyrank then it can easily get confusing for people, especially new players. Going to have to give this a -1 due to that. This is a good idea, I just don't think it will realistically work on ECC

I'm in support and not in support. If I hadn't applied for resident I never would have known there were rules in the first place. As well, how do you expect to make mayor and president applications work with towns? I want to like this suggestion, but it doesn't seem like it would work.

Just make nether and end ranks features instead. Add them to buyfeature because they work the same way as features anyway.
