[Suggestion] Builder Bonus

Personally, I like this idea. It was very helpful all the time it was there.

I still don't understand why people are being given free money by the server. Why can't we just encourage builders to join the forums, and that's it?

 

Giving them free money really helps them alot (even 1k is already enough), but not too much or else some will not know the value of money and will use it for shopping spree.

Encouraging them to join forums will not just work, even if they join, I bet most of them will even barely post a stuff, and about giving them money isn't about getting more user on forum, it is for proving their curiosity and their interest towards ECC, helping and assisting them to their needs in game, and please know that not all builder will use it for random purpose instead or will use it stupidly just because they were new to ECC (or Builder rank) doesn't mean they were a newbie who doesn't know anything or is a immature player (I know it is not you who think like this, knears, but someone does, but helping them with 1k is already alot for builders)

Well, this is just my opinion why we should help builder by giving them a small reasonable money, 1k is already considered alot and helpful for builders, it won't destroy the economy so easily if the reward is set at the low amount.

 

Please correct me if I am wrong, but in the wiki, under the server file clean up policy, it states that builders can easily obtain money through voting to prevent a file clean up.

Why are we giving them free money if the wiki already gives them a way to obtain free money?

 

That is the instruction to give money, it doesn't give the money directly, support anyone who firstly joined (mostly builders) with 1k should already enough for rewarding for those who joined and won't destroy the economy easily.

And voting for money does prevent a file clean up though.

 

I think having them vote is important, and since voting is free money, why do we need two forms of it?

 

Well, the obvious reason is to support the newcomers, it isn't needed but it would be nice to have so.

After reading through all the posts in this suggestion and my own thoughts, -1.

 

I believe that there are already enough people that help builders, and I just don't like the idea of spawning in money for players just for joining the server. There is also /vote, a simple easy way to get money.
