[Suggestion] Bring back the (modified) old market

Ooh, i like it. Maybe make all the shops the same size, but as long as each shop has its own chunk that's awesome. Well done a18 and thanks for helping out with this!

 

Messing around with the spacing of the underground shops now. I'll keep you guys updated.

 

How big is a chunk @JamieSinn ?
I will try and have a think later if i know the rough dimensions of a chunk

Another Update

Currently, the design will have 72 total spawn shops. I can extend warp rows to make room for more if needed. Don't think there's a point though due to only 66 shops being rented as of this post.

The Red Market is completely finished with each shop having its own chunk. Pictures below.

 

As long as all of the shops that are the premium don't lose value or good foot traffic, I don't care.

How's this? Changed all bottom floor to double stone slabs.

 

So I started building one... obviously only the entryway but I quite like it so far...

Red Market Layout Details
Rows 1,2, 3 and New Prime Shop

• 2 Floors
• 14x14 Area
• Build Height of 12 (Includes Ceilings and Floors for customisation)
• Accessible by Either Bottom or Top Floor (See Diagram)
• In Prime Locations

Rows 4, 5, 6 and 7

• 1 Floor
• 14x14 Area
• Build Height of 6 (Includes Ceilings and Floors for Customisation)
• Accessible by Top Floor Only (See Diagram)
• Rows 4 are next to Row 1 shops, Rows 5 next to Row 2 etc. (Ordered by Prime Location too)

This is a decent design in my opinion and fits within the chunk per shop.
This design would fit 15 Shops in each Market
Totalling 60 Shops
Which is more then enough shops to find variety but to also keep the shops active and competitive.

Design for Prime Spawnshop
Remember, the Owners can change the Ceilings and Floors or both Rooms, create staircases etc.
The Row4+ Shops would be just the top floor only.
The Roof has not been designed yet either.

I like it. You tagged the wrong charger though

Anyway, looks good. I did envision it a bit differently though, with all the downstairs shops in more of a cluster than a row... that'd help out less-prime shops a bit more. Also making the staircases down at the market spawn a bit more flashy or something would be good, so more people go down there. Anyway, looks good.

 

Number 2... it's going to be kind of like the old market, maybe.

 

+1 Dislike the new market. I also dislike the new spawn but I don't think anything will be done about that anytime soon.

 

I think I'll try my hand at a design too. Can't be too hard

 

Bump the market still has way to many empty spots we need a new design.
