+1 I have played on a server with a similar plugin and it was faster and easier than this. You can't scam or cheat because if you drop the shovel (in my case was a pick) it gets destroyed so you can't give it to someone else. There were no scams connected to this plugin and is straight forward and NO, people couldn't make golden shovels/picks they were disabled.
Revan rose i belive that the mod can be setup to a min and max 1 time use aka you can use only a 100x100 or 200x200 area if yoi make anything bigger or smaller it would not lock in, also i believed it would be easoer to just have someone make the town amd then it ping a message to available mods, you would agree to the application on the forum and then just send them a 1 time usage of the item aka allow them access to only that mod and im sure it would be easy for khob to set it up so that if they fail it charges them and once they mark out the town the system locks them out of the mod
Technically most of this is possible but doesn't work well with ECC's existing systems or workflow, read revanrose6 's comment for the details.
we are listening, the point is, it's not the most effective way of doing towns. Your the one not listening
But without the forum record, we can't handle other requests such as allowing people to buy portals, or pvp arenas. It also doesn't take into account special cases where people give permission for towns to be placed side by side, vs the normal enforced space limit between towns. The forum record is used in virtually every day to day moderator task, from handling complaints to research on contracts.
You need to re-read my suggestion then, It says you would only be able to do this AFTER you fill out the application.
and if you place the town in the wrong place aka were somone has there own town or to small of a town you get 8k removed from your balance until you do it right.
But unless the staff are the ones handling the actual region marking, there is no easy way to confirm this. All on all, this is mostly useless, and only works on a unmoderated automated system.
