Hello ECC Community,
I have played on many multi-player servers and have seen most of them use an auction plugin, and since I think this is one of the best servers I don't understand why this one doesn't especially since I see people banned for bidding and not following through or auctioning something and logging out.. If ECC had an auction plugin people couldn't just log out and not pay or log out and not sell because the plug-in takes what you are selling before auction starts and as soon as you bid it takes your money then gives it back if someone bids higher and builders wouldn't be able to troll because unless you had the money in your account you can't bid (which I see happens a lot like 1/3 of my auctions)I think this would alleviate a lot of stress from mods and players alike.
Plug-In recommendations: I don't know the best one or anything but here is a couple examples.

This has been suggested before, let me give you some reasons why it can't happen.
- Andrew only accepts plug-ins that are open source. Find one on github if you even want your suggestion to be considered.
- You cannot sell Exp, towns, plots, or enchanted tools, weapons, or armor with most plug-ins.
- Would cause chat spam.
- From looking at your post, you can only run one auction at a time?
- Would cause command spam.
- Your other plug-in is 1.5.2
- Would have to work with all the plug-ins we have, and I'm not sure they could/would take a while to work out bugs/lag/compatibility.

And since there's one auction, you'd get a giant queue of people wanting to have an auction, and people getting angry if they wanted to auction next, and didn't type fast enough.
You still need a plug-in that's open source, Andrew doesn't make many exceptions.
The reason he wants one that's open source is people if there's a bug, his own Dev's can fix it. If it's closed source, he has to contact the programmer, ask him to fix it, ect, much slower. He also can't configure it to everything he wants the way he wants it.
And just because you've never seen someone sell exp in auction doesn't mean it hasn't happened. And some people like to sell plots/towns in auction instead of trade.
And lastly, you still can't sell enchanted stuff :(
