Suggestion: We should have a plugin in-game for auctioning
Reason: It would reduce scamming and allow all players to see what is being auctioned so then they won't get scammed by other players. It would take a load off the mods shoulders too. They always have to kick them from Auction chat because they can't switch channels
Any Other Information: There was one called gbay on another server, but I cannot find it so I found the best one to it so far. C:

I disagree, many players get scammed and mods have to worry about kicking people from Auc chat. It would allow mods to be able to concentrate on other matters besides new builders who can't do as they are said. -
Yes however this will add more plugins for andrew to work with, auction chat is scammed sometimes but its not enough in my opinion to add a new plugin

The discussion on a /shop plugin gave me the idea of proposing an /auc plugin, but apparently I'm not the first to have that idea. I therefore want to resurrect this thread as well as add a few pro's and con's:
Pro:
- Prevents scamming. You can only sell what you have and you can only bid what you have and the plugin makes sure you can't go back on your promise.
- Money and goods are transferred automatically, so no need to find a public chest or throw it on the ground and risk yoinking or butchering.
- The auction dynamic is fully preserved: You can have incredibly low bargains as well as bidding wars to astronomical prices.
- You can only sell what you have on you, so no "selling a double chest full of diamonds". So the auction channel would still have to exist parallel to the auction plugin
- You can only sell for money, so no "1 stack of diamonds starting at 1 nstar". Again, the auction channel would have to remain open for this kind of trades.
- Susceptible to trolling: Most plugins allow only one auction at a time (and even if they would allow multiple auctions, it's probably not a good idea to enable them). People could start an auction and refuse to end it despite no one bidding, therefore blocking the auction plugin
