Minecraft Name: UnitedStates2
Suggestion: Allow regular players to reply to server announcements.
Reason: Right now only staff can reply to server announcements. I don't see why regular players shouldn't be, as they may have questions among other things. I see nothing coming from this else than positive effects.
Any Other Information: N/A

This will probably come down to Andrew himself, but I myself love this idea. +1.

Hmm, I'm not too sure about this, because in the server announcements, imo there is always enough information for anyone to understand what's going on, so I don't think many people would have questions anyway, and if they did it is easy enough to ask someone in game and I'm sure you will get a quick answer.
This also might just cause everyone to spam pointless posts, and may cause flame wars when people have varying opinions. For example, some of the news posts on the forums that were quite controversial in the way of peoples opinion, and people have state their mind in game about some of the announcements (lwc removals being one of the controversial topics) and I believe that this would lead to users arguing on the threads, causing unneeded dispute.
Also, I believe that it would be beneficial for the posts in that section to be in order so people can see all the recent changes that have occurred on the server in chronological order, thus allowing people to reply here would mean that the threads would be bumped and out of order pretty quickly meaning that it would not be as easy to find the most recent changes that are happening on ECC.

Eh I'm going to have to -1 this suggestion for several reasons
1. Players could always make their own posts somewhere on the forums in reply if they want to discuss it
2. Sometimes all of the information isn't available at the time, and updates on the situation are posted by andrew. This updates would be lost in the spam that might result from the initial post as people state their openions-

I believe that this would cause posts to get bumped, so they'd be out of order, if you have questions just ask someone.

All the issues presented here are easily avoidable, and I can't see why not to implement this.-

My personal opinion:
Keep it the way it currently is.
My reasoning:
Take https://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/cleanup-policy-update-lwc-important.140280/ as an example. There are five replies by andrew - let's say it would have caused 2 pages of discussion because it is a major change. (I assume it would have been a lot more because the LWC change resulted in many different opinions.) This would have made these update comments harder to spot. With the current system, you immediately see whether any changes have been made since you last checked the thread and especially which changes were made.
My suggestion:
I don't have the time to find an example announcement thread, but I <think> I remember a few that had a link leading to a discussion thread in the General Discussion subforum. This keeps the news section clean and allows discussion of the new changes.-

The current system works perfectly well - people can create threads in the help/support section if they have questions.
