My blaze spawner is very precious to me. If you find one dont destroy it pm me the coords in game or on forums. If it is mine i will give you 10k to leave it alone. If its not mine i will be willing to buy it for a good price. Blaze spawning is the only way to keep enchanted items in the game with mob spawning turned off. If we continue to destroy them xp will continue to be overpriced and u can say goodbuy to enchanted tools which i know we all depend on. In a month ive seen xp go from $3 to as high as $6 per orb. Think about it folks!

You can't lock sign or any items in the nether,same applies to the mining world. -

It actually does get them something: Being able to monopolize the EXP economy. This means that if you have all the EXP in the economy, and you are the only source of getting more, then people will either have to accept your prices for it or buy it from server store. People will be forced to buy it for no less than your price, meaning you have full control over the economy and can make thousands more in cash than normal without having any worry of other people messing it up. If people so wish to have the only spawner in the nether to monopolize the EXP economy, of course they would break the other spawners. It only makes sense.
Still, with how often the nether resets, how well hidden some spawners are, the size of the map, and the dangers of doing it, having the only spawner is a near impossible achievement. Even when you manage to do it, it won't last long because of the nether reset. It's honestly hardly worth trying. -

I am fairly sure however true this may be that those who break spawners are ussually ot doing so to monopolize. They are doing it because of spite, i.e. if they cant use it no one can. -

This could be true, infact, something I didn't mention before, even without trying to monopolize the economy, you could just get lucky and take out one of the people who are dropping the most EXP in at that time and do some damage to the economy, but that would take a lot of luck, and it doesn't take long to find another spawner.
Still, good things and bad things come out of destroying spawners, and most people go with destroying them regardless. I wish you luck in keeping the spawners alive. :p -

Ajp I use a spawner that was already set up for blaze killing, someone already owns/has claimed it.
It is set up in a way where the blazes are forces to move round a block into a 1x2 so they are trapped and can easily be killed/drops collected. The area in which the killing happens is nether brick, is this yours?
