Just so there is no confusion.

Per a private conversation, he asked for some things. I went to his home and saw he had an unlocked chest with diamonds, iron, redstone, and so forth. I locked it, modified him to the chest, and dropped off some things for him.

I let him know in our conversation what I did and why.
