Name Changes Now Enabled On ECC.
Name changes have just been added to ECC. With this addition there is a plethora of important information regarding these, however I think the wisest piece of advice I can give you is simply this: DON'T.

Staff perspective on this is very similar to trading ECD for server features: We will allow it, but we will not provide full support. There may be issues that are ultimately at your own risk.

At the time of writing the following things are/aren't working:

Region Permissions - Functional

Ranks/Features - Functional

MCMMO - Functional

Balance/Homes/Inventory - Functional

LogBlock - Functional

Pets - Functional

Backpack - Functional

2 Factor Auth - Functional

LWC's - Mostly Functional
LWC's already converted with your UUID will be compatible with a new username. Older locks not updated with a UUID will not transfer. Simply use /cinfo on your chests before you change your name to check and /unlock then /lock them again to update the protections.

Voting - Mostly Functional
Vote reminders will correctly save the last time you voted and instant prizes will be awarded correctly. However a name change will reset your vote count in regards to monthly "Top Voter" prizes and any unclaimed offline voting rewards.

Trade Signs - Not Functional
Trade signs will not automatically update to your new name. You must manually break the signs before you change your name if you wish to keep the items. If you have changed your name the items inside your old signs are lost and cannot be recovered, even by staff.
**For a very limited time Phys may be able to help with trade sign issues.

Pending Lotteries - Not Functional
Should you buy tickets in a lottery, and then change your name, you will not be able to receive potential rewards from winning that lottery.

Pending Bounties - Not Functional
Any bounties placed on you prior to a name change will not be updated to your new name.

Pending Tombstones - Not Functional
You will not be able to access any unclaimed tombstones after your name has been changed.

We've made an update to the required format for LWC removal requests. As always we will only accept requests using the correct format so check the thread here for the correct format.

Contract Organization
We now have separate forum sections for archived Accepted and Denied contracts. Remember to search the accepted contract archive for any contracts you have!
