Station 25 Auction Question Thread

I think this thread should just be like a sticky or wiki page titled "shop auction FAQ" with answers to all the questions asked. At this point there aren't really any new ones

 

Not used enough to justify being a sticky, it can be found using links easily enough.

 

Do auctions automatically close after 24 hours of inactivity or do they stay open until a staff member says they are closed?

 

This may be minor, but is it possible that general questions could be left while station-specific questions could be removed on this thread? Feel like that would make this thread more convenient to a prospective shop buyer.

Tilikum I believe it's a staff member, not 100% on that but that's what I've seen in the past.

 

I hope this gets answered by staff soon since there is an active auction that has exceeded 24 hours per the thread and yet another bid has been posted since then. I was considering putting a bid on this shop except the time had expired and I assumed @Tilikum3115 was the winner.

 

I do not see anywhere in the official thread that it is when a staff member says, only that 24 hours have to expire.

 

This is correct. (although resolved several hours ago).

Unfortunately an SA cannot always be around when an auction ends and whoever is leading at the time it should have ended will be declared the winner.
