Hands down, waffles. Hm.. player on staff, I really didn't spend a lot of time on staff, so I wouldn't be a staff that is a player. Regarding your second question, there is no specific situation I'm happy about, but one of those must be when a new player thanks me for the help. Love seeing the smiles on new users! For me, I usually read suggestions every day or so. Not sure, it's usually the higher ranked staff members discussing the suggestion, and this should take a long time. Only moment when a suggestion is done quickly if it's already been denied in the past or it's really good! Bringing PVP back to life is something I'd like to see in the near future.
I don't really consider myself as a staff member, sometimes I have to staff a little more professional whn i have to deal with certain situations that I would normally handle differently if I was a player, but thats part of being a helpful staffer I think. There are no individual situations, I hope that everyone thinks I am a helpful staffer and more importantly, they are proud and happy to know they can come to me and ask me anything and at least get pointed int he right direction. I go through stages in my Minecraft playtime, where I really dont enjoy minecraft, and times where thats the only thing I want to do, but during both those periods, I still try to come online every day and say hi and be around for a couple of hours to help people who need help I also try to do different times on the weekend every weekend so that everyone can ask for help on different timezones if they have had a question need answering. I doubt horses will ever be invincible again worldwide, as they were never meant to be invincible in the first place. You can however apply for the Town Flag app which at least makes your mobs in your town invincible if they have nametags on. They will only b invincible to people no added to the town. But thats beter than nothing in my opinion. Suggestions don't just get implemented at the click of a button, there are a lot of things to think about when applying a suggestion to the server. Just because a idea is a great one, it might not be possible to work around the current plugins, or hat we currently have. It might benefit a certain group more or make a certain type of money maker over powered, making the other areas of ECC, slow down as people want to make there money the easiest and quickest way possible There are lots of suggestions that i have seen, even some that I have made that I think should be implemented, and feel like there is no reason why they shouldn't be added, but there are sometime hundreds of things to discuss before actually applying them.
Into the mysterious world of narnia Various reasons. Some suggestions aren't that "easy" to implement while other are. A lot of thought goes into adding new things to the server. But I think we should be adding more of the users' ideas.
Depends on how much time I have to make them. If already made, waffles. My two cents on this is that in the past events have usually been run by a smallish group of staff. They can get a lot done, of course, but are then susceptible to things like resignations. Events provide an opportunity for players to work as a team to accomplish a goal, perhaps we could have an event run by the entire staff team to promote us working together. Oh dear. I really do feel like I do more staff stuff than player stuff these days, so perhaps staff that is a player. I really don't have specific situations that I consider most proud of handling, though being promoted to GA with relatively little time on staff and handling it pretty well is up there. Depends I personally check the suggestions forum once a day at least, usually. By high staff, I assume you mean SA+ - the reason for this is that they tend to only close suggestions when they add them. This can take a long time, as especially with some suggestions there's a lot to consider. I'd do something with SG kits. Probably the most common response to that question, but I think that makes it all the more valid. If I do 5-3 and get 2, where does the three go? May sound a bit sarcastic but that's the best idea, it just goes away. There's more to a suggestion than just how popular it is. Obviously those are the ones that stand the best chance, but there's still other factors, like possibility and administrative opinion. Like, if a suggestion to, say, turn ECC into a vanilla minecraft server got a lot of +1's it still wouldn't happen.
@oreo1227 What is your favorite flavor of oreo? @Mission001 What is your Mission? @ClarinetPhoenix Do you actually play the Clarinet? @emongolab Calvin or Hobbes?
hmm.... I want to try red velvet ones, but haven't so can't say those are my favorite. I really love the pumpkin spice ones, so I'll go with that one
Overcompensating, perhaps? WoW, D3 with Lady_Frost, bowling with my dad IRL on Thursdays, and recently I've reinstalled Dragon Age: Origins (non-steam version, sadly) to see if I can't be it again. Oh, and when schedules and weather allows, I play D&D over at Crezarius's place with Thenfunk and some other peoples.
If I told you, I would have to kill you. I have free time? lol I play Call of Duty, Puzzle Pirates (Great Game) Talk to LadyV most of my spare time. Thats about it.
Would be worth it. Conspiracy theory: You would even have to do it if you didn't tell us because your mission is to cut as many heads as possible to fill your head museum. Then, when you are done, you create a cyborg army out of those heads.
@nicit6 Who's the better doctor, Matt Smith or David Tennant? Also is c in your name soft or hard? Is it pronounced "Niss-it" or "Nick-it"
