I want to know staff members opinion on rules and the actions they take for them, i.e. are they too harsh, not get the point through?
You don't always agree with all details of the server rules, luckily nothing is written in stone and everything develops over time. At this point, over 5 years in I feel ECC has developed a very well functioning system with rules and punishments allowing staff to do their part in a professional manner.
Most of the rules and punishments follow the rule of common sense. Stick to that and you will likely rarely get punished. Simple
Removing warns is not possible. The most we can do is realize that one was a mistake in the event someone hits 7. They would normally get a 48 hour temp ban with their 7th warn, but if one was a mistake then we will not issue a temp ban until another warn is issued.
Ah, so then you guys dont have the permission to remove warns? For example you dont have punishments.warn.remove? If you dont, then wow ECC really need to get LiteBans...
Yes If there is truly a mistake in the warns, like @a_man21 said, we would correct the mistake if you hit 7 warns and got temp banned.
Is this a new policy? I vaguely remember having a forum warning retracted back in like 2014 after proving it was a mistake but maybe it was just worded to sound that way?
