I has one question, If I get this launcher, (which I will obviously get) will I be able to play on servers that support the SquidLauncher or just ECC?

 

It bypasses the blacklisting so that we can log on to blacklisted servers.

 

squid is launcher that lets you go on blacklisted servers

This is a launcher, not a client. You can play on any and all servers.

 

So it isn't like feed the beast launcher where it is completely separate?

Well, I got a bug. Whenever I tried connecting to a blacklisted server <not going to disclose> all it said was "Disconnected". No clue if this was intended or...

 

Will we be able to use mods such as Optifine and Macro Mod? :)

Will our minecraft accounts be at risk playing on a blacklisted server thats bypassing its blacklist because of EULA?
