@ClarinetPhoenix is this vanilla behaviour? If it is, then this is intended as our sponge mechanics have recently changed.
at the 5 second mark in your video to the left you can see a tall kelp that did not have the water on it dried out by the sponge. All water in the radius of the sponge should be dried plant in it or no.
Oh shit, you're right. I'll have to drop this into my todo list for after our 1.18.2 update and investigate further. Thanks for bringing that up.
@ClarinetPhoenix will be looking into this. At this moment we have no fix, it's a plugin issue that we don't have much control over.
