Well, xp pricing are back to within "normal" range to my standards. I just dumped off over 100k worth 2 days ago. Whether it is mass hysteria, this posse, andrew's denial of xp mining (which I hate), or something else.... it is working.

If he ever has a "xp for miners" day, I have saved up a lot of coal ore to fortune up. ;)

And just to throw this out there. I have been letting a lot of residents and builders use my spawner the past few days. (I figure why not help the newer players). If it gets destroyed because they got caught, that would be so awesome. (I am in full support of this group and am not hypocritical if my spawner gets caught by it. My spawners usually last 3 out of 4 resets). I have a feeling this spawner won't be found if it hasn't been found yet.

 

I really like to think this posse helped increase the price of exp. If we continue with this, who knows what the prices could get up to?

 

That 100K exp you dropped affected the exp price quite a bit, Emau. I think it will rebound some once that supply gets used up.

I just don't think we've hit a stable price yet. People are still hoarding/dumping and things haven't fully settled down yet.

 

Yeah I watched it go from 1400 to 1900 back down to 1500, haven't checked today but I think it is still at 1500.

 

I wish Andrew would do something else to try and bring prices of exp up, but I don't know what else he could do. :(

 

He can do a lot of stuff, he's just not.

For example, he could make the next mining world reset have no spawners. Then after roughly a month or so, he'd reset it again, and this time have spawners in it.

 

That would be awesome!

I sometimes spend an hour or so trying to find spawners... but when I get there I don't have the heart to do it :3

 

Same with me Charger, but I still do it. You can also set a home over it if you have an extra, then destroy it when they are not there.

 

I could just dig up the spawner and get the exp from it. You'd have to remove spawners altogether.
And blocking exp from ALL mobs would cause me not to be able to get exp from mobs that spawn naturally.

Not really, as it is now the spawners won't drop experience because I simply blocked all experience gain from blocks. So if we were to block exp from mobs, then there would be no way to get exp naturally.

It has been disabled for some time, it's what initially caused this spawner rush.

 

Haven't been mining from some time. In that case, I do not support breaking spawners.

 

No that is the point, we are trying to get exp prices to rise, so yes destroy all spawners.
