I wasn't really talking about it's effect on the Eff 5 tools (although, Eff 7 tools remove the demand for Eff 5 tools, which does have a bit of an effect). But these tools do make it harder for new players to get started, and low prices on everything these tools effect. Farming prices, mining prices, ect ect.
But.. none of the prices have changed because of eff7 tools.. so how does that affect anything? (unless you mean diamonds, which make up 1/15 of my total profit from mining, so that's not big of a deal) All I know is that it's really easy to make money as a builder, all you need to do is mine until you can afford better tools, or until resident. Or mine until you can afford a good axe and farm, sure, it won't be fast, but it won't be difficult either. The only thing affected by nstar tools are melons.
I think that exp should be converted into another currency for the server. An idea that came to mind was changing the way you buy goods from the server. Instead of paying with EcoDollars, you would pay with exp. With this idea in mind, I also feel that it would be a good idea to remove the ability to buy exp from the server (At least temporarily to test what the effects would be). This would allow exp to be of use instead of just sitting around waiting to be bought or stockpiled. I realize that this may confuse new players (although it could easily be explained in the server tutorial, which I still argue that first time players should spawn there.) but for the good of the whole I feel it would work. Please ask questions if you have any, for I would like to elaborate more on this idea. P.s I am for the destruction of spawners When I first got into the exp market, I was selling at an average of 36k per set. When AKM started allowing exp to be bought from the server, the prices dropped to 18k per set. And everything changed when the exp update attacked... I have witnessed his reign of destruction first-hand and can attest to his efficientness.
Seems like a great idea... I'd like to join.. I have pyro+, multihome+, tp+ and fly, so I can run through lava and tp into/ out of any situation immediately
Got a few today, a few yesterday. I see a lot of exp being sold by shops and not much coming back in. Prices are on the rise! One thing I am doing is leaving builders alone. I only track down gray names.
Love it. I'll start leaving signs whe I break them. Too funny. *Not to taunt, but rather like a calling card. I already know what my signs will say.* imgur.com/a/18ALG
Ladies and gentlemen, I think we need to take this battle to the nether! Any tips for locating blaze spawners in the nether would be appreciated. I will research it myself and post my findings.
Oh well. I guess I should waste time looking for and setting up another spawner, just to have it destroyed again.
I don't go in the nether much as I am a wimp. But I remember trying to find one in single player when I was trying to beat the game and looked online on how to find them (like a year ago). Nether fortresses spawn in a line in the nether. So if you find one and head off going straight, you hit another. I think it is the 'Z' access if I remember correctly. I think the best way was to go diagonal until you hit one, and then stay on that access going straight.
Partially correct. They spawn on both x and z axis, if you find one and follow the z axis for about 500 blocks and don't find another, go back to the one you started at and go along the x axis. They usually spawn anywhere from 100-300 blocks from each other, although I've seen them so close together that they appear to be one fortress. Also key to remember is that will only ever be exactly 2 blaze spawners per fortress. So search each fortress until you either find and destroy both of them, or find the platforms they used to be on to verify they are already gone (including ones that have been covered up and hidden by players).
I just can't believe you people. I hope you realise that it takes time to get 30 levels of experience from spawners. Now you want to destroy them ALL?! :/
Hmmm... I'm willing to duke it out in the nether without fly+... Btw if it's lava you are afraid of, pyro+ fixes that problem
Thanks for all the tips in the nether guys, really appreciate it! I think the nether and mining world will be resetting soon so we need all the help we can get for destroying these spawners! TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO JOIN IN!!!
Things have changed a lot over the past two years. Exp used to be very very expensive. There are still some that wish to save the flagging Exp market and bring prices back up.
It has nothing to do with lava or fighting, I just don't like fall damage in the nether, I have my acro pretty good as well as my feather falling iv but I don't like the occasional almost dying from falling. I have pyro+ so that isn't a problem.
What about Tycoons+ That being said, I did a logblock for someone and it turns out you destroyed their spawner xD
