I'm gonna hit you with some knowledge. First of all, you need a way to travel. Fly+. If not that, tp+. If not that, get a boat, yo. Use the build warps and /wild to move to 'fresh' hunting grounds. Ok, now for /near: Use /near. Move in a straight line (not diagonal) for 10-20 blocks. Use /near again. If the person got closer to you, keep moving in same direction. If they got farther, turn around 180 degrees and go in that direction instead. Keep doing /near every now and then. Eventually, the distance on /near will stop getting smaller and will start to go up again. Try to find the point in between, just before the distance starts going up again. Once you find this point, turn 90 degrees and start moving in that direction for 10 to 20 blocks. Do /near and if the number has gone down, keep going in that direction. If it went up, turn around and go the other way. Keep moving toward the person while doing /near. Eventually, the same thing will happen as before where the distance will stop getting smaller and will start to get bigger again. Find that point in between where the distance stops changing and you shoul be roughly directly above their head. At this point I start digging straight down and start looking for their namebox. Once you see them, keep heading towards them. That's about it.
Is it bad if I spent. 5minutes looking for the donation /near... Then I found out its in extcommands *facepalm* When I can get to a 7Eleven or Walgreens or some shizz I will buy a visa card and donate ;b
I could develop a macro to roughly pinpoint the location of players using /near. I will have to write it in 1.6.4 for now but I can get started. Since I don't have the donation feature yet I would need screenshots of what /near looks like as well as detailed instructions of how it is used. I would also require people to test it. I can't promise much but I am sure, given some time, I could make something that would help.
