A double standard is a requirement or regulation that applies more to one group than another. This is common in economics, politics, and moral codes. I think what @knears2000 means by this is that every other aspect of ECC (farming, mining, fishing, etc.) was nerfed over time as people found progressively more ways to make money. Using that wheat as an example again, once people found ways to make 30k an hour (I.e. Kuke), wheat prices were reduced so that the max was less than 30k. Now, let's quickly address mining, which made significantly more than 25k before the red stone and lapis nerfs, which was done in order to prevent mining profits becoming overpowered. But, contrary to prior actions, SG was buffed by $50 a kill and $50 per player in game. No kit rewards were buffed similarly. Sure, we are all not BttPs or 3points, but those two elite players are like Kuke for wheat. If they can make absurd amounts, it means that a nerf should happen, rather than upping amounts. Just my interpretation.
From this day now, sg i feel that not much people want to play due to the huge reduction of a 2 player game being 550 instead of 800 which is huge considering farming and mining is constant money, u have to actually win the sg game to make a killing and there's so many good sg players
