Re: Some Interesting Numbers regarding ECC Thank you WeWinAgain *on a side note a much better average for the amount of towns added per day is 3.69 (I averaged 42 days of added towns instead of 14 to get that.) And sense I want to be able to say I have a trilogy of number post. Here is one final set of numbers on farming. (All these numbers assume you only make money off selling that specific item. ex being you make $15,000 by selling 75,000 reeds.) To get Resident you need to sell: 75,000 reeds 7,500 melon blocks 10,000 pumpkins 8,571.42 wheat To get Mayor you need to sell: 425,000 reeds 42,500 melon blocks 56,666.66 pumpkins 48,571.42 wheat To get President you need to sell: 700,000 reeds 70,000 melon blocks 93,333.33 pumpkins 80,000 wheat To get Tycoon you need to sell: 2,500,000 reeds 250,000 melon blocks 333,333.33 pumpkins 285,714.28 wheat *Item prices were found using the severs /worth command I want someone to get tycoon by only selling reeds……good luck. That’s my trilogy. I will now leave this thread to its fate, unless anyone wants me to try to figure something out for them. As normal if you see any mistakes please point them out. (I really hope there isn’t any this is just basic division.)
Re: Some Interesting Numbers regarding ECC *now a Trilogy That's awesome. It's actually kind of helpful to know these things. Why isn't this on the Wiki??? Lol
Re: Some Interesting Numbers regarding ECC *now a Trilogy Ok so I kind of lied, I’m not letting this thread go yet. I have good reason though. I got a request for the following set of numbers. (This assumes ECC has never been down)(As of June 20, 2012) The number of minecraft days that have passed on ECCThere’s 3 minecraft days per 1 real life hour* There’s 72 minecraft days per 1 real life day ECC has been active for 474 real life days (from March 3, 2011 to June 20, 2012) There has been 34,129 minecraft days since ECC started There has been 93.50 minecraft years since ECC started** There has been 1,122 minecraft months since ECC started*** There has been 4,875 minecraft weeks since ECC started*** Now for a little personal fun: My avatar is 24 years 6 months and 17 days old on ECC Andrew‘s avatar is over 93 years old and still going strong *A minecraft day is 20 real life minutes **I don’t think minecraft has leap years ***both these had numbers after the decimal point, but were rounded down. And yes I counted the one real life leap day ECC has existed through. I must give my thanks to the Minecraft Wiki guys again for the length of a minecraft day. If you see a mistake please point it out. And to wrap this up, I hope the person (whose name escapes me) who requested this is pleased. *fixed thanks WeLikeike22
Re: Some Interesting Numbers regarding ECC *now a Trilogy My reaction to everything posted by rosypolly in this thread.
Re: Some Interesting Numbers regarding ECC *now a Trilogy E.C.C actually opened publicly March 3rd, 2011. Not April 5th, when the forums opened.
Re: Some Interesting Numbers regarding ECC *now a Trilogy Of course you would remember that ike... >_>
Re: Some Interesting Numbers regarding ECC *now a Trilogy Thanks everyone! Lol ok I'll have to fix that up later tonight then. (Done)
Results So I was looking into how my original post’s predictions were playing out, and was pleasantly surprised. Way back on June second I posted there were 618 200x200 protected zones on EEC main world at the time. I also predicted that they were increasing on average at 3.92 zones a day. Using that number and multiplying it by 26 (June 2, 2012 – June 28, 2012) shows that 101.92 zones should have been added for a grand total of 719.92 zones on ECC today. When I actually counted there were 97 added for a grand total of 715. This means the prediction was only off 4.92 zones. When you use my revised prediction of 3.69 zones a day, you get a grand total of 713.94 zones on EEC. This was only off 1.06 zones even better. For the people who like a clearer cut version look below. Real Numbers: 97 zones added for a total of 715 zones First prediction (3.92): 101.92 zones added for a total of 719.92 zones. This prediction was 4.92 zones to high Second prediction (3.69): 95.94 zones added for a total of 713.94 zones. This prediction was 1.06 zones to low. I hope no one minds me “bumping” this thread. I just don’t see the point of starting a new thread for stuff like this when I have an old one. (If you guys do have a problem with it just tell me and I’ll stop.) If anyone has any requests for new sets of numbers or wants to see more results later on post below. And to wrap this up. If you see a mistake please point it out.
@rabidworm builders can make money using no wild now 1) vote 2) buy a plot 3) get seeds or work for you mayor 4) continue farming/working
I really enjoy reading this thread. Many of the data's you had, was pretty usefull. If i look at them i kind of think they're positive, i mean if we first run out of space in 2015, that would be pretty good, and the amount of towns being added per day O: You must've been calculating for some hours there! Bro
This is great. I never realised realised but I like statics. The number of towns being add is also increasing. There is plenty of land the trick is good land. I hope if the map is ever reset that all the towns are world edited in. I know that would be one hell of a task but losing some of the great creation on ecc would be such a shame.
Yes it does. (I’m assuming you’re talking about the mining numbers.) Everything uses the assumption you get one drop. Ex. One redstone dust per ore, one coal per ore.
