Based on our discussion today, I did a brief survey of our neighborhood. I found that the hill towns comprise a continuous 600x800 region with two 200x200 holes. 5 towns are on land, and the other 5 are entirely water. My town, slayhill is in the southwest corner of the block. To get a portal in the region by funding a mayor or pres app we have a few options. 1. The two areas with out towns are one town east and one town north of my town (touches small hill's southwest and northwest of your town). We could fund a town app to either of those locations. The town would have to be under 200x200 to follow zoning rules. 2. Fund a pres or mayor app for a town off the coast of slayhill or shiny hill. These locations would not be very easily jointly accessible. 3. Fund an app off the coast of Greyhill. One town away from small hill, on the corner of my town. @0TheRedHerring0 - Nice work and it will be great to get something worked out for a portal in our "hills" I am tagging @romper83273 as she is the owner of greyhill and I think gravehill and has been working on getting a mayor app in that corner but without an actual town claim it seems that all options require the 15 blocks away unfortunately. I am also tagging @nicoviacava1210 since he is the co-mayor of smallhill and shinyhill. As I said when we talked earlier and discussions I have had with romper I am willing to invest in a portal for our area or to work out an arrangement with co-ownership of the towns for their claim.

All the users are the listed owners of their respective towns. @AdmiralD ,@peelxthatxbanna, @romper83273 , @nicoviacava1210 ,@Penguinpixi, @Braetheboss I think that Possibility2 would be the best option in terms of being close to all of our towns. Admiral, if possibility2 was chosen, maybe we could build a light rail that stops in the southpart of small hill and runs into my town. This system could possibly connect more towns too.
This is an awesome amount of work you have done! The only concern I have with Option2 (Ragehill) is that it still does not connect to your town and I believe it would still require braetheboss or peelthatbananna to authorize at least 1 block in the corner of their town to even reach mine. Ravehill can be claimed (which I do not have at this time since nck98 is not found and would be a great option if someone with a claim could be found or if I can dig up another 2mil Have you tried to reach Brae or Peel? I know that Brae is active some of the time but he has never answered any of my requests to remove his locks and have always had to wait until he goes inactive again to get them removed. Peel had been active the last time I looked but I really do not know his status. Unfortunately, this was a fantastic area with beautiful homes and farms that for many reasons fell into disrepair and I think there is possibly hurt feelings that may or may not be healed for a long time. As to your question of the rail - I am more than willing to put a rail or allow access to anyone in that area that is interested in making this a grand area again on our towns.
It has been a while since I have posted any updates, so here we go: 1. A fountain in the corner to add to the general aesthetic of the town. 2. An entire second floor has been added to the nwart patch. 3. Tree farms: Acadia, Jungle, Birch, Spruce, and Dark Oak farms. 4. Vastly expanded the coca bean farm and added a second floor. 5. A fishing tower, it is located where the house used to be to the left of the fishing dock. It is still kind of buggy, going to improve the design. 6. A new pump/melon farm, 4 rows 2 wide of 50 pumps/melons, 200 fruits each floor. 7. New floor of pumpkins above the sugar cane. 8. Town mine usable by all residents . In progress: 1. The windmill build to improve town aesthetic. 2. Town store, residents can buy tools and supplies for next to nothing and sell me items well above the server price. 3. Expanded farms. 4. Finishing roofing the green prebuilt. 5. A town portal. @AdmiralD I am starting to think about this again. I have tried to contact juke, no responce yet. I will try contacting some of the original owners. If that doesn't pan out, I think the easiest thing would be to buy a resident mayor off the coast of my town, and then get the portal. I have 40k and counting saved up. 6. A new trailer. This one will be a while because school is getting ready to start up again...
@romper83273 in doing Some research about the area, I found this portal app http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/town-portal.51019/ But there is no portal at the coords. Does it still exist?
I have sold SmallHill and ShinyHill to @Assajj_Ventress so you may wish to contact him to see if there is any way you can work together to get a portal in the area - the last I heard is that he had worked out something to get a portal.
@BackToThePast I think the easiest solution to our portal problem would be to buy a resident mayor for their town, and then a portal. Would you be interested in doing this I can contribute 90k.
