Currently each island can have 10 villagers for every member. This is an unfair advantage given to teams, where they can have many more trading options available to them as well as many, many more iron farms in comparison to people going it alone. It is unfair to penalize people for not having friends/working together on skyblock, and I think it should be changed to a static amount of villagers, not dependent upon the number of islanders.

As for the team aspect, it is also not right to penalize those that are able and desire to play together. Is is any more fair for 10 players to only have 10 villagers?
Skyblock will never be balanced imho as there are way too many variables. Instead of mobs per member, it should always be per island, again in my humble opinion. The same for redstone, hoppers, signs, chests, or anything else... per island. All members would share that way and be a better balance for all. -

And it's not a rule. I'm unsure of how the leaving an island would work, but if there is one person the max amount of villagers that can be created is 10, two people the max amount is 20, etc. It's not a rule, it's embedded within the code that only a certain amount of villagers can exist depending upon the number of players. -
That makes sense so that if a member leaves, the code would just kill the villagers. -

For now, I think it is wise for all mobs and limits to be per island and not just a select few here and there. Even the 10k per 10 level is per island for the very same reason.
One final question - did you have a per island limit you would feel is more reasonable? If so, it would be awesome to add that to your suggestion. -

To explain further - It takes 10 villagers to spawn an iron golem, so 10 villagers per iron farm. An island with, say, 10 people can have 100 villagers, so they could potentially have 10 iron farms, whereas someone going alone (like myself) can only have 10 villagers, or one iron farm. I am unsure of what figure to suggest, but it should be something that is the same for all islands, regardless of number of players.-

with island sizes like we have on here you should be able to cover the outer edges of the island with 16 iron farms respecting the minimum distance you have to have between them. then you can stack them about 4 times that would be 64 farms per island AT LEAST (you can still put up some on the inner part of the island but thats inconvenient when it comes to other farms) somehow its pointless to put them up in that layout unless you got the manpower to have all the chunks loaded at all times (one of the reasons i initially questioned the island sizes ^^)

I believe there is a suggestion that limits should be the same per island.. I feel like that should be taken seriously...
I don’t think advantages should be given for teams over individuals. Granted awards are split over teams, however that is their choice and allows them to level faster. I don’t think individuals should be at an even more disadvantage. Limits should be the same for everyone and by that I mean all limits..

Villager limits have been changed.
Prior to this change it was 10 per player, and then increased to 25 per player.
We have now changed this to be island based. Teams can no longer increase their villager limit to be higher than a solo player.
The new island limit for everyone is 100 villagers.-
