Chat is already in patron and I think Andrew said they didn't plan on adding tool naming to Skyblock at all. Colored signs would be neat though

Well, the colored tool names were not officially “Not Accepted” yet. Andrew just stated that he wanted them to stay main exclusive without actually denying it yet. Edit: he mentioned that on another skyblock colored tools suggestion, not the one I suggested (aka the linked)
