My suggestion this time is to reduce the limits placed on players this includes Increasing hopper limit and Villager Limit and other mob limits. Currently the villagers limit is (I think) 10 per player on an island. This is very unfair for solo players who like to have complete control over their islands. This puts them at a disadvantage and becomes unmotivated to play. (This affects a lot of people who don't have friends playing on this server/ prefer to play Solo) My suggestion is to set the villager limit to 100 for all islands. This makes it so players have access to build farms for the most essential item on skyblock which is Iron and have enough to set up a trading shop for them or other players. My second suggestion is to increase the hopper limit to 100 also but decrease the speed at which they transfer items to even things out. Hoppers are essential for all automatic farms and should not be limited to such a low amount. My third suggestion is adding the stack mobs addon and removing all limitations on hostile mobs. or at least increasing the limit for slimes/other hostile mobs (Currently it's 10 for sliems which in my opinion is way too low considering the challenge takes 64 slime balls instead of the standard 40)
I agree, the skyblock limitations, in their current form, disproportionately affect solo players and small teams. The skyblock limitations should be amended to prevent large teams from having an economic advantage. If teams are permitted an economic advantage over regular players, then the market will dissuade people from starting their own islands. Skyblock islands should not be like main server towns, it would be bad for ECC if players believe that a large team is necessary for competitive play.
Villager limit has been changed to per island, not per player, and is now set at 100. Hopper transfer time has been cut in half from every 8 ticks to every 16 ticks. As our player count is not massive at this time, we will gladly accept suggestions like this to help improve the player's experience. However keep in mind should performance take a hit, certain limits will have to be set back. Further more once we determine mobs are causing an issue, @JamieSinn and I will look into a mob stacking plugin to help with performance. If anyone would like to see any other specific limit changes, do make a new suggestion! We are open to them as always and try to get to every single one. No gaurantees that we accept them all of course.
