Spawners are a tricky point, tbd. Creepers blow up in vanilla, you'll have to watch your back here too
Will it be allowed to exchange items or cash (players can give a better conversation rate for instance) from Skyblock paying with main server money? If so, is it possible to integrate a /bank pay <user> <amount> in game? Since you earn 15k per 10 island level, is the amount to level up a fixed amount? (Is level 0 --> 10, the same as 90 -> 100)?
I cant add the bank pay command, but that's at your own risk. Progression is linear, 250 points per level
1. Are skyblock challenges going to be infinitely repeatable? 2. Are hoppers going to be craft-able? 3. Are items going through hoppers going to be slowed down? 4. Is there a limit on how many mobs per chunk? 5. Is there an admin shop and if so is it going to be designed so players make money from it? 6. Are there going to be spawners? These are the questions I could think of from the top of my head, might ask more later. Thanks for all the hard work Jamie.
1. Some yes, some no. 2. Yes 3. Yes, tbd. 4. Yes, tbd. 5. Yes, players will be able to sell/buy at spawn, or to other players. The server shop will buy from players at server price, and sell to players at two times server price 6. Nether currently spawns some, I've yet to decide how to get them otherwise
what about the End/Nether? Will they be reset once every year? or more like once a month or a few months? and will PVP be enabled in them? "Redstone will not run when someone on your island team is not on your island. This is to prevent mass redstone farms from basically being a set and forget." Does this mean all members of an island have to be online and on the island for redstone to function? if so that's a bit disappointing. About island dimensions, how big is an island going to be? Is MCMMO going to be added?
After looking at youtube and staying up to date on the newest snap shots... Got another question for you. I know the main server stays updated on all the newest minecraft updates. Will skyblock update to newer updates too? If so, would new blocks make it into skyblock? If not would players using the newer minecraft versions still be able to go into skyblock without downgrading their version?
@Kaslan All this means is that the chunk that the redstone is in has to be loaded, and to load a chunk only one player has to be there.
Nether is islands, and will reset as we see it's needed, but it's not guaranteed to reset. End will reset probably once every two months. Already answered above, 221x221 with potential room for expansion if we find that's too small. Correct Mcmmo for now will not be added. It may be in the future
Thinking on this more, does that mean Skylegend would have to do /kit skylord for the kit contents? Or would the kit contents just automatically pop in with /kit skylegend?
First, a huge thanks for all the issues that have been resolved since the testing has begun, especially the vote reminder every minute or so I expect you will let us know when it is time to report actual bugs, but did want to mention that I had earned 13 voting keys and when I created my island they just disappeared. I am wondering if I would have created my island if my inventory of winnings would have been gone as well? Is it just me, or are ignores not being carried into the skyblock mode? Will they be? It is hard enough having to ignore sometimes many times a day due to work, but will be especially hard if it has to be done every time we go from server to server
Not possible unfortunately. On creation of your island your inventory is wiped, no way to go around it unfortunately.
