Minecraft Username: Unique_Beagle Brief Description:Skyblock... placed a chest next to 2 other chests, and it looks like a chest.. but now functions as a beacon? Sounds like what happened to me in https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/skyblock-chests-broken-upon-version-hopping.193450/ @Unique_Beagle , please confirm or deny if my situation was similar to yours or the UI shown from the thread linked.
I haven't been able to replicate. I am not able to create the chest setup that seems to facilitate this bug in any client version. In 1.13+ the chest placement they are indicating is possible, it is not possible in versions 1.12.2 and below. I can't place the same type of chest next to each other in an L shape, the only way to do that in 1.12.2 is to have trapped and regular chests placed next to each other. Such configuration would be possible with the same type of chest in versions 1.13+. I'm wondering if this is a possible visible bug as a result of being on a client version of 1.13+ on Skyblock, like how fences and doors are not quite right.
@Unique_Beagle is this also happening on 1.12.2 client? I believe it may genuinely just be a visual bug. We always recommend playing SkyBlock on 1.12.2
so testing on 1.12 it only shows 1 dchest, ... instead of 2 and one chest and the "beacon" is just gone. so yes.. im assuming its just the visual glitch you guys are speaking of... weird. Thanks!
