+1 gulag needs to happen, recreate the map! each game is different kits (iron sword, fist, diamond axe, bow and arrow, etc.) betting would also be fun!!!!

-1 potential for boosting/wintrading is too great in 1v1 arenas.
Now, I'd be down if there was a 1v1 arena meant for SG deathmatches to avoid drawing sg games out too long when people run away in deathmatch. -
you could remove the betting aspect and just have a 1v1 arena purely for bragging rights
