Isn't it a little much to make people pay REAL money to place WATER?
First, the whole point of the server is to make money farming, etc.------- How am I gonna do that when I can't even place WATER? This is ridiculous!
Furthermore, I am twelve and cannot use paypal or any other payment service.
In conclusion, it is easy to say this is TYRANNICAL!

Still is stupid... if I pay to have it done I can't do it exactly how I want it!
Make your own server if it's THAT expensive. [Mod-Edit] -

Hello,
I have paid for water placement abilities. I thoroughly approve of it. This is not tyrannical it is simply a show of real life economics. In real life the rich have access to things that others don't. You don't make your own clothes, you pay someone who has the tools to make them for you. If you don't make your own car, you pay someone else to. Simply put, this is an economy server and money talks both Real life money and in game money. You can't place water, find someone who can and they will place water for a small fee. I personally place water at very reasonable rates as do most people with water.

You also must consider the fact that if Water was cheaper, the amount of users who would buy it. It's at that set price because Water/Lava can be a deadly tool to Grief with. At this set price of $15.00, we'll rarely get those users who'll just buy the feature to to massive Grief. You could pretty much destroy a town with these features, having it at that set price is totally fair. I assume that's why it was bumped up from $10.00 to $15.00, because of Griefs with the feature. -

-1 from me, if you want water placed how you want it tell the person you paid to place water for you.
PS: you are very rude in game and out of game(forum). Calm down a little and learn to respect others.-

Water placements cost money for a few reasons. It stops griefing with water, helps pay server bills, and stimulates the economy.
Servers cost a lot of money. I won't get into details, but paying the bill for the server, website, ventrilo services, and more costs a lot. Money keeps the server going and the users coming.
Many users have suggested that water placement be free, but many users have already paid the $15 for it. It most likely won't happen. It's up to andrewkm though.
See me in-game and I'll be happy to place water for you free of charge. :) -

See, as what Ryan just said is a classic example of how willing donators with water are to the ECC community! Users with donation features are normally going to do a donation feature for you, sometimes free!
Sprayware does donation features for free, and is a great option
You can also find other users.
Or you can buy plots in towns that have free water placements!
Towns I know of:
Northshore mayor vtnick
Goldcoast mayor vtnick
Many other towns do this!
See, with the amazing community of ECC anything is possibe -

Vinh_Kin managed to get over 700k worth of donations by farming, this was when he was a resident. I got tp with in-game money.

I normally agree with you man. But water is a really easy tool to grief with, along with fire. It prevents a lot of problems with griefing to have it controlled. Plus it helps along our gaming experience in game. Buying and selling its placement. Yea it sucks, I know. But it's going to stay how it is to prevent problems.
