Hello children, on today's episode of Steve Is Bored, we're going to discuss what the reasoning is behind a lot of the personal things that people have and do. For instance, what is your skin of and why, what're the names of your towns/nation and why, ign, desktop wallpaper, profile picture, signature, profile quote, etc.
To start off:
That's all for me, although if you have any questions, feel free to ask. I certainly love talking about myself.
- My skin is of Guy Manuel de Homem Christo. He's half of the duo Daft Punk, the best thing to come out of France since french fries.
- My towns are named Machiavellia (named after 16th century Italian philosopher, Nicolo Machiavelli, who wrote the book The Prince), La_Ciudad (Spanish for "The City", it's a large modern city-scape, and the Spanish name is because I'm part Spanish and am fluent in the language) and Aspen (since I'm from Colorado and wanted a town that represented that). My nation is called The Summit Nation, named after Summit County, Colorado, a county in the Rocky Mountains where I spend a lot of time and where most of the large ski areas are.
- My IGN is Steveshizzle honestly because it sounded cool. My name's not really Steve, although I've almost adopted it as an alter-ego, so if you were to see me and call me Steve, I'd probably respond without hesitation. Shizzle is there to modify Steve and because Snoop Dogg is my spirit animal.
- My desktop wallpaper is an hd image of Daft Punk performing in their pyramid thing. I'd post an image but I don't want to break anyone's screens and because I don't know how to take pc screenshots.
- My profile picture (right now) is Panic! At The Disco's "Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die" album. PATD is my favorite non-edm group and I recently saw them live a few weeks back which was pretty epic.
- My signature is the same as it's been for almost two years now. I had it made by Mafidog when I was a resident and I was going to pay him for it but he went inactive right after he made it. I'll make sure to keep the money for him if he comes back. :p
- Lastly, my forum quote (or status I guess) is a quote from a friend of mine that refers to the song "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster the People. It was the status I set when I first joined the server forums and it's been the only one I've had since.

My Towns:
FallWalk is my first town which is something that came from a fantasy name generator and Rosefog, my other town, is from a generator as well! My nation name is Zotto and I wanted "Z" to be my first letter and I got my money for president from Lotto so..

This looks interesting! Looking forward to what everyone has to say! As for myself:
- What is your skin and why: Well, my skin is a King with a regal monocle. The skin was made for another server, so I will not go into any more detail on what inspired me to make it.
- What're the names of your towns/nation and why: My two towns are named Aquila and Aegis. I've always had a thing for Greek/Latin names, especially when they refer back to ancient mythology. Aquila is "Eagle" in Latin, I used Eagle because there's no Latin word for "falcon" :p. Aegis was a symbol of protection in Greek mythology, usually represented by a goatskin shield. Aegis was meant to be a defensive castle to protect Aquila, so I thought the name was rather fitting.
- How did you come up with your IGN: I've spoken of this before. At my school, "falconaire's" are our cheerleaders. I had a crush on a falconaire at the time, so I named my Minecraft account after her. Romantic, I know.
- Desktop Wallpaper: A sweet Minecraft background with an EcoCityCraft logo at the top right. It's pretty sweet if I do say so myself.
- Profile Picture: Literally... Just a Falcon.
- Signature: My old skin, standing between two rows of knights. A very cool signature made by @annyonion, truly out-did herself IMO.

•My skin is of a plain player (boy) in a red shirt. I wanted/used something more ... interesting? but I'm a horrible skin designer and haven't found one that is exactly what I am looking for. This one is pretty basic and I'm fine with that.
•My towns are named after a bbs (later web based) game I used to play. *showing my age here* It was shut down after the people running it, and the people playing it had differing views on how things should be done. It got very.... messy near the end.
•My IGN is a long story. I have posted it somewhere on these fora.
•My desktop wallpaper is 'caterture laboratories' (image search using your favorite search engine). Want to guess what my 2nd favorite game is?
•My profile picture is a pic of my wife's dog name butterfLY. She is a Shih Tsu and half the size/weight of my cats. Still she likes to try to terrorize them and my wife scolds my cats when they 'protect' themselves by swatting her away.
•My signature is a quote I live by. I have used this for years and still believe it today as much as when I first saw it.
•Lastly, my forum quote (or status I guess) is just something I thought of since I couldn't think of anything else witty. I feel it gives a little insight to my life and who I am without being too specific.
New questions for you:
• How did you find out about Minecraft?
• How long were you playing before finding ECC?
• What is your favorite Minecraft update so far?-

•My skin is supposed to be a Japanese boy in a school outfit. Pretty plain.
•Well, My towns were named after Japan. It was inspired by the Nihon nation.
•I made my Username Origamimaster10 because I was the 10'th person in my family to memorize how to make a total of 100 origami's. Nothing really special.
•Uh my desktop background should be something related to science, but its just a defailt background right now. I think ill change that soon.
•My profile picture is a picture of space, as im very interested in the study of astronomical related sciences.
•My signature is a physics joke, and the true definition of a secound. -
Skin:
My skin doesn't really have a story. I searched "medieval skin" PMC and after a couple hours later and hundreds if pages I found the one I liked. However, I haven't always used this skin. When I first started playing Minecraft, it was just so I could play Multiplayer, and I did some researc prior, and Skyblock interested me. So I decided to pick a server to play on and met a guy there who had a pretty cool Batman skin. Well, we became pretty close and I became the co-owner of his island, and so I was like his "side-kick," and he gave me the idea of being Robin. With the little knowledge I have about Batman, I asked him "What about Nightwing instead (Nightwing is the older version of Robin after he and Batman had a falling out; they later got back together to fight crime)?" He said sure, so I got a Nightwing skin and we did our thing. Then I found ECC and though, "You know, a Medieval town would be pretty awesome," so that's when I searched the medieval skin. My friend Chundi has made me a formal variation of the skin I have now, with a nice tuxedo and "formal" cape (to keep the cape because I like it; not an official MC cape, just on the skin).
Towns:
My first town Colhen started from way back when I use to play Vendictus on the PC. The main town there where your player started was Colhen, and I thought it was neat, so I borrowed it. But before I was playing on ECC, I built a harbor town on creative and named it Colhen, but it didn't go very far because I got very bored very quick with it. Once I found ECC, I knew it was the place to make the town.
Freywyn is a name I got from a name generator (lame, I know) but it sounded decent and matched the "en" sound at the end of all my other towns (Col-hen/Pres-ten), so I used it.
Alyrne was something I actually came up with that was different. It sounds kind of royal, so I planned on having a castle there, but I will end up just having more expensive houses there.
IGN:
My IGN started 10 years ago when Halo 2 came out for the original Xbox. This was when I began online multiplayer. The thing is, the account was originally made for my step-dad (he was still into games then). The first 4 letters of his last name are Maco, and the numbers are random, but sounded good. After a while he lost interest and gave me the account, and I've kept it ever since. Anything from Combat Arms, to Vendictus, to League of Legends, to Clash of Clans, etc, my name has remained the same since.
Desktop Wallpaper:
My desktop wallpaper is a picture of a 1967 Camaro. I've always loved Camaro's since I was probably 8 or 9, when my parents bought their first one. As I've grown I've developed a taste for the older models, especially the '67. I currently own a black '95, and I love it. However, a nice 1967 has always been my dream car.
My Profile Picture:
My profile picture is simply a picture of my town Colhen's city center (with the old YouTube fountain) and shaders. I thought it looked cool so I used it. It's been there for a good 5-6 months.
My Signature:
My signature was made by OnSceneReporter by request for my loan business. Stolio has helped me a great deal to establish a threshold, and with it I loan people money, so that I can do random things on the server and still make money. It has links to one of my business partners, KMaxwell, a link to my "For Sale" thread, and a link to my loan thread.
Forum Status:
My forum status is nothing major. Just as follows: "Everyone that is concerned: I will be reapplying for staff towards the end of summer when I have more time on my hands. :)"
I was recently demoted from the staff team because of my low activity. During the summer my family is very busy, and it started catching up to me when I couldn't control when I was going to be online. I had been planning to resign for a couple weeks and never got around to it.
How did you find out about Minecraft?
My friends at school were always talking about Minecraft, and I was basically clueless. When my best friend told me about it on Xbox, I went and bought it and started playing with him online. I thought the game was just simply amazing with all its mechanics and stuff (this saying a lot, because the Xbox version is much older). I wasn't really familiar with servers, so I researched it. When I found out you had to get the PC version, I waited for a bit before buying, but finally did. I used to go over to my friends house to shoot my bow/guns, and would take my Xbox, and we would play Minecraft over LAN once our arms were sore from drawing ours bows, or our shoulders were sore from shooting rifles. It was always pretty fun.
How long were you playing before finding ECC?
I had been playing on Xbox for a good 6 months, and started to get bored with it because there wasn't really much to do. I bought the PC version and immediately began playing on multiplayer. I found that Skyblock server and stayed for a good year or so, got bored with it and found ECC. Needless to say, I've been on ECC for a year and haven't grown bored yet.
What is your favorite Minecraft update so far?
My favorite Minecraft update so far has to be 1.5, the Redstone update. I loved working with Redstone and when this came out I was like a little kid at Christmas. New comparitors and hoppers and all sorts of things to make clocks, automated farms, mob farms, etc just tickled my pickle. Once they got the lag issues figured out, I was hooked.
