It's what you do with said jailbreak that makes it illegal. Ie download apps for free. I'm a computer science major, so I'm a total nerd and I've coded a couple games that aren't that bad imo lol. And with a jailbreak I can access my iPhone's root directory and change literally anything I want I got a newer phone once my screen was starting to pop off back in December, so I have to wait for the newer jailbreak to come out sadly.
