Guys, he's kind of right. You have no idea how easy it is for someone to use your selfie and figure out who you are IRL. Same goes for age, location, etc. For all we know, someone on ECC could be using someone else's selfie right here on this thread to hunt down their personal information. That's unlikely, but it is the truth. People can so easily pretend to be someone else on the internet, appearing as a typical player, but really hiding behind that image and stalking people. This is why I've turned off my age and location on the forums, and will never post a photo of myself here (except for this beauty). I personally don't get why this thread exists, but whatever, not like I'll be posting much on it anyway. If you feel safe posting here, go ahead. I know I won't. Odds are, most of ECC is just normal people, but you never know who anyone on the internet really is. Finally, I'm not trying to scare anyone with this post, but I just want to remind everyone about the truth.

That's why I'm not posting a selfie here. I don't think the worst of everything, I just want to stay safe on the internet. Odds are, you're right. There's a 99.9% chance everyone will have a great time, and in fact I'm happy for those who are going, as it'll be a lot of fun. There's always that 0.1% chance though that something wrong/scary will happen, and of course I don't want that to happen, but unfortunately, that small chance exists. I do hope the members that are going take normal safety precautions, as these are just people from the internet. I am still very much looking forward to hearing how much fun everyone had I live too far away from Pittsburgh to be able to go btw.
