Alright. When I leave my screen on the same page for over an hour, whatever is left on seems almost "burnt" into the screen. Even as i'm typing this, I can faintly see it in a light green texture. Do I need a new screen? Is this fixable?... I mean, it's livable ofc, not gonna shell out a few hundred for a new screen if it's fixable, lmk below.

Not sure if it's fixable, should fade after some time if it's not been burned on there for long.
However, you shouldn't leave your screen the same for a long time because it does exactly what you're explaining. Get a screensaver or turn off your monitors/screen when not using it :)-

It could go away -> not fixable if it's permanent. I think there's an option to turn off your monitor or something like that after a certain amount of time though which is what I have.-

Though it's a huge improvement over what used to happen to plasma TV's, it's definitely still a problem. The easiest solution is to just setup a screensaver that appears after 30 minutes or so.
According to Samsung, you should try and avoid keeping a static image on your LED or LCD display for any longer than 2 hours.
Edit: For any future information, Google is your friend. Try to use it before posting on forums.-

You call my response bullshit, sure, but in the end you asked a generic computer question on a minecraft server's help & support. Things I expect on a minecraft server's help & support: "Help my minecraft crashes", "Help my java doesn't work", "help something related to ECC is broken" or even a "how do I install this mod".
ECC is NOT your personal helpdesk. It's a place for minecraft related things. Anything else belongs in off-topic. If you don't like my response, you can just ask your questions on a computer help forum. You know, the places where you can get in-depth responses regarding computer issues and questions.-

Can we carry this to an actual tech support website? There's a million other places to ask for help related to your computer and ECC is not one of them. Is it really hard to use google? Lol

PS: I couldn't help but notice you titled your thread "backround" and I must correct you. This is a minecraft server and there is no such thing as "round" on minecraft. Therefore I urge you to correct it to "backsquare". Thank you.
