Just a friendly reminder to the community as I've been seeing an increasing number of scams lately: Please always be checking in the Ban Appeals/Complaints forum for whether or not the user you're planning to trade with has any prior issues with transactions of any sort. Take a peek at the feedback threads (both the Donation and Loan ones) to see if the user possibly has positive or negative feedback. If you have a successful or failed donation or loan transaction with someone, be sure to leave feedback in the threads above so that others can know about that player's history. Always take screenshots of everything you do when carrying out a transaction. Most important are the agreement and payment screenshots. The staff team do our best to try to crack down on scammers, however the community also has the responsibility to make sure that who they're trading with is truthworthy. No one will ever force you to trade with anyone on this server against your better judgement. If you think someone is fishy, find someone else who's offering what you need who you feel is more trustworthy. Paying a little bit more for a safe transaction is far better than losing anything in a scam transaction; the staff cannot and will not ever guarantee that you will get your stuff back if you get scammed. Also never do it with someone who has never been online for more then 4 weeks to be sure.... even longer is better. Also make sure they are not leaving
An interesting reminder, and most likely needed. I simply hope that flamers/haters don't close down the thread.
These warning threads really deserve to be in "Announcements" part of the forums, which we don't have access to
