I've a double chests full of various ore.

 

Holy cow.

 

20x20 of coal ores, about 6-7 levels high

15x15 of redstone ore, 2 high

about 100 lapis or so

not too much gold

bout 20 stacks or so of iron

my ore save-ups :D

 

explain why youre saving up?

 

I get it. You wan't the exp from mining ores. I am saving up too.

 

I have been saving for awhile now, was tempted to sell off when the mining prices jumped up before they were reset but didn't.

9 double chests full of iron (just started #10 so it has less than 1 stack), 1 double chest about 2/3rds filled of gold.

I didnt have a silk pick until recently so I only have about 10 stacks of red, 2 double chests of coal and about 30 diamonds.

in my singleplayer world, i got about a double chest of each material in ores (except coal, i got about 3 double chests). I plan to be at about level 60-70 once im done.

 

Sadly, I wish I could go mining with a silk touch, but silk touch is SO easy to get in 1.3! *sigh* how much are silk touch picks worth right now :p

 

It depends on what you get with it, my friend got a regular Silk Touch with I think Eff 3/4 for 30k, but I've seen just Silk go for about 15k-20k

 

Yes, but it would be a TON cheaper in 1.3 which i feel andrew is gonna be updating soon. I need to make the most of my skele spawner before the update.

 

Silk is only high right now due to people saving up for 1.3 and it will plummet once people are enchanting 20/30 items a day from all the ore/exp they have saved.

The only exception will of course be Eff5 silks.
