Oh by the way, I been looking at the Rising map and I think I found the Mesa biomes. Hope you guys get a chance to save them before they get torn up. Rush over to them right away and put your town there so you can save the mesas!
We're gonna need a plan here fast cuz it sounds like Rising'll be up in the next few days. First thing we'll need is a number on who we're buying mayor/president/additional towns for so we know how many town plots we need to make and who's plots they belong to. Next we'll need an expedition team, likely a group of players with fly and tp that can get to the biomes, possibly map out the area, and make the plots. I'll go with the expedition, meanwhile if all donators can hold off until the plots are made, that would be fantastic as it would give more time for donatees to make more money so that donators aren't hit so hard in the pockets. I say we start with the biome north of spawn, although it doesn't really matter. If all the people that are staking land could tag me in a post so we can keep track, that would be great. Id like to volunteer my presidency for one of the towns. Id like the new upgrade as well as the idea of making sure the mesas dont get destroyed. Andrew uploaded a map of rising and I can use my presidency to claim so land in one.
We could easily fit a lot of people into those towns but you know there will be people who are going to make things difficult, such as, place their towns an awkward distance or angel from another, creating useless space, or tearing up the biomes for money and destroying possible town areas.
At the moment, my funds are currently low, I don't know if I can claim mesa in time for rising to be out, sorry.
Thanks, it was pretty cool. We played some major lotto, got "free" golden apples, and scoured some villagers together (all 6 of us) before Andrew got back to work. Then we roamed freely for about 15 minutes.
In theory, make your posts somewhere and lock them ASAP. If you lock it, I think it's illegal to put one over yours. Then have other people willing to cooperate place their posts right next to yours (a.k.a. touching towns). I think 4 people could easily save a biome (biome in center) and have room around the outsides to still have some buildings and such, instead of just empty towns. Good luck, as I don't have the funds to currently participate.
VTFAN8 i very much support your proposition but, I I am still 30k from mayor and most likely will not get it before rising is out , I hope your attempt to save the mesas goes well
Looking at the map of rising posted above it does appear that their are 3 Mesa biomes in all of rising. I am currently pretty much out of money but I am going to be in the team of people going to the mesas and tp'ing people who can buy a town there to them

I have 10k Since most of my money has been going into my other towns. Paying for my upgrade would be expensive
Question: if I place town posts that you dont approve of and make a pres app, will you remove my town posts?
We need to make sure that we space as many towns out inside of the mesas as possible. There are only 3 mesa's in all of rising. But a mesa is one of the biggest biomes there is and we can fit quite a few towns per mesa. Please do your best to preserve them, not break them in any way. Let's keep the mesa's nice.
So I agree with not covering with dirt blocks but are you guys against building any type of houses or buildings on them?
