Recently, we've taken some feedback from users regarding our rules and their wording, and made a couple changes. While most of these changes were minor clarification of thoughts, removal/changing of outdated information, and spelling corrections, we have changed/added a couple things that we would like to immediately bring to the public's attention moving forward:

Section III, Clause II "Lottery Trolling" has been moved to Section VIII, Clause I.vi, now labelled "Lottery Spam", shortened and clarified a bit.

Section V, Clause I "Languages" - definition of spawn local chat has been more clearly defined.

Section VIII, Clause I.v "Shouts" - added provision for extremely excessive and aggravating shout spam, at the discretion of the admins.

Section VIII, Clause I.iv "Discussions" - added discussion of banned players to the things we don't discuss in chat.

Section III, Clause I "Trolling" - Clarified parts of harassment pertaining to following players around. Clarified that this is fine in the wild, but not in protected towns, particularly if you have been asked to leave.

Added Section VI, Clause IV "Third-Party Programs and Auto Clickers":

(while this last one wasn't a part of the rules overhaul, and was a rule that is long overdue for proper addition to the rules, I decided to bring it to everyone's attention anyway.)

As well there are several minor clarifications in places where there were things that we already did anyway, but they simply were not stated very well/properly within the rules.

We've spent a lot of time trying to go through these with a fine toothed comb, but they are certainly not perfect, as rules rarely will be. If you have any questions about the revisions, please ask here so we may look at making things more clear going forward.

 

The issue with autofishing honestly is mostly that people do it while away from their computer - that is, they're making the same progress as people who are at their computer, with less effort. While we discourage it in all forms, we recognize that there are reasons for autoclickers, such as carpal-tunnel or other muscle problems in the hand, that make clicking excessively difficult. But as long as you're at your computer making the effort, this is fine.

 

As long as you can respond and are obviously at your computer. I do this too. For instance, if I weren't preparing for a huge exam I'd be fishing alt tabbed right now XD
