I like the auction new auction channel bc of the following...

• you don't need to worry about looking for bids and you can do what ever you want during the auction.
• you don't need to worry about not getting payed or not getting the item/s.
• you don't need to meet any where.

 

• Staff having to worry about false bidding. Fixed.
• Staff having to pay close attention to auction chat. Fixed.
• Auction holder having to pay attention to bids. Fixed.
• Auction holder having to do anything besides starting the auction. Fixed.
• Risk of scamming. Fixed.

There's probably more, but this is what I thought of right now.
Give it some time. I've learned that people hate change. But in a week or two this would be the same as auction chat was. (except safe and easy)

 

I just don't like the minimum bidding/maximum time allowed/only one auction at once ideas. Other than that, I think it does well. And you can still use /ch auc. :p

 

Give it a week or so and everyone will love it.

 

Troll auctions are being dealt with and will slow down as punishments are distributed. File a complaint with valid evidence and it seems it will be dealt with.
This is an absolutely better solution to the previous method of auctioning on ECC and the forums are available for those auctions that do meet the plugin requirements.
It is new, it will always be annoying when there are changes. Please give it time and I think you will find it much improved over the previous auction methods.
